Job Summary/Description:

*** 12 Oregon is seeking a creative and dynamic morning News Video/Photographer (Editor) to collaborate with reporters in the field, as well as independently, to gather and produce news stories for our newscasts and digital platforms. Utilizing ENG cameras, laptop editing equipment, and mobile technology, the successful candidate will shoot, edit, and perform live shots on location while covering the day's news. This position entails an early morning shift from 4 am to Noon, Monday through Friday. The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays.

Duties/Responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):

* Shooting video and stills for our newscasts and digital platforms, and gathering information in the field
* Operating laptop editors, as well as live portable technology in the field
* Collaborating with reporters and producers on stories
* Maintaining equipment and vehicles as assigned by the News Operations Manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Capable of working under pressure and meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy work environment
* Good communication skills, able to multi-task efficiently
* 2 years of experience as a video photographer and non-linear editor preferred. Must be available to work all shifts and have a clean driving record
* Knowledge of Panasonic P2 cameras and Edius editing platforms a plus
* Enjoys a fast-paced environment

Job Summary/Description:

The News Supervising Producer manages and coordinates the creation and execution of the weekday 6.5-hour Good Day Oregon newscasts. This position provides editorial and production direction to producers and field crews on story content, crafting rundowns, and managing breaking news. The News Supervising Producer is responsible for raising the production level of the show by coordinating the efforts of anchors, reporters, editors, and other staff to attract the largest available audience to the station's profitable newscasts.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- 40% Previews and proofreads news material before airing. Supervises producers in writing, rundown creation and crafting, and developing newscast elements,
- 20% Coordinates breaking news, big story coverage, and daily story selection for field crews, anchors, and other newscast contributors.
- 20% Works with producers to raise the production level of newscasts by creating compelling graphic and preproduction elements, pushing urgency in writing and producing, and constantly evolving and improving the look and execution of newscasts.
- 10% Coordinates with the creative services department to develop effective promotions for upcoming shows, newscasts, and events.
- 10% Fills in to produce newscasts when necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education -

- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years producing newscasts for a television or cable station. Supervisory experience preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -

- Experience using ENPS internet production tools, MS Office strongly preferred.
- Must possess an advanced understanding of newscast presentation.
- Must possess excellent writing and graphics skills with the ability to provide an interesting and substantive product.
- Must be results-oriented.
- Ability to focus on coordination of daily and long-range segments from first contact to on-air products.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Summary/Description:

**** in Beaverton is seeking Master Control Operators. The successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring multiple TV stations and preparing and maintaining the quality of the on-air content using the latest technology in Master Control automation. The position includes switching commercials, airing station breaks, recording daily syndicated feeds, and inputting material into video servers. While also providing QC support to Network and Local programming. monitor on-air signals for all streams, transmitters, and FCC logs.

Duties/Responsibilities would include (but not limited to):

• Monitor all broadcast streams for **** and ****.
• Operate master control systems, including the ability to effectively perform the following: commercial/program ingest & QC, Satellite operations, and controlling the automation system.
• Proficient operation and knowledge of Master Control operation and supporting equipment preferred.
• This position requires attention to detail, as well as the ability to make fast, accurate judgments, multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and problem-solving.
• Monitor and edit automation playlists to ensure correct playback of programming and commercial content.

• Ingest commercial content and programming from multiple sources including but not limited to Satellite feeds, FTP delivery, LTN, and Extreme Reach.
• Ingest commercials, programs, and other program materials into the station automation system.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master Control experience with Crispin or other automation systems preferred.
• Flexibility with scheduling and job assignments.
• Computer experience and willingness to learn are a must.
• Needs to work and communicate well with others, as well as be a self-starter.
