JOB DESCRIPTION Big Ten Network is looking for a Director, Sponsorships to join their team in Chicago or New York. The Director, Sponsorships will lead the Big Ten Corporate Partners (BTCP) partnership Marketing team, supporting BTCP's Conference wide partner activations. The Director, Sponsorships will report to the *** President, Sponsorships and will also lead our current Big Ten partner management program.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Execute strategic direction & full oversight of existing Big Ten Corporate Partners including fulfillment of all contractual obligations across all sponsor accounts
- Execute annual Sponsor Summit/Retreat and FCG/BBT Event Activations
- Work with the *** President, Sponsorships on sponsorship renewal development and negotiations as applicable
- Collaborate with the BTN/ *** sales team to develop and execute digital programs across BTCP social platforms (per contract and/or incremental)
- Manage the fulfillment team (Manager, Partnership Marketing)
- Interact daily with other departments throughout BTN/B1G/ *** : Ad Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Sports Admin, Communications
**** YOU **** NEED - 8+ years of experience managing the operational aspects related to sponsorship benefits at a professional sports league, professional sports team, or in conjunction with a premiere sports event
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships, manage project budgets and multiple tasks under pressure, provide a high level of customer service, and develop and implement creative/effective sponsor driven consumer promotions
- Ability to work with high profile clients and solve problems
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and a high degree of integrity
- Occasional travel to sponsor meetings
- Attendance at all major BTCP activations and major events

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $106,000.00-148,500.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
