Job Summary/Description:

The ideal candidate will be able to follow current events and present news stories to audiences in an informative, interesting, and unbiased way. Keep abreast of news developments by studying papers, attending events, etc.

Responsibilities will be to communicate with MMJ's, Assignment Manager, and Assistant News Director to create a fast-paced, smoothly sequenced, and fact-based newscast daily.

Job Summary/Description:

The ideal candidate will manage the newscast timing, flow, and pace for our weekend morning newscast. Keeps up with assignments, breaking news, and wires to make sure the newscast provides the viewer with the best information.

Job Summary/Description:

Are you an aggressive self-starter with excellent communication skills and a ****ING attitude? Are you looking for a competitive environment where you are working with the best of the best? While prior television experience is preferred, sales experience in cable or radio will be considered.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited, to):

• Identify, develop, and expand existing and new client relationships & key accounts
• Contact local direct clients and advertising agencies, acting as a liaison *** ween the station and the advertising community
• Make customer-focused sales presentations to all classifications of clients to obtain orders for advertising time
• Ensure clear understanding and interpretation of client needs, and recommend appropriate solutions, in order to meet requirements
• Coordinate internally the actual purchase of advertising time, placement of the schedule
• Develop short and long-range plans for revenue growth. Overachieve monthly/quarterly in new local direct television and digital l revenue quotas
• Negotiate advertising rates, create oral & written presentations; and coordinate commercial production with the creative team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
Must be accomplished with the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must also be willing to learn and master industry-dedicated computer software applications

Job Summary/Description:

Our Award-winning; duopoly ****- *** & *** is looking for a Multi *** Journalist who will consistently pitch lead story ideas and showcase their work on multiple platforms every day. You will produce stories for our newscasts, but also provide content for online, mobile platforms, and social *** sites.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Must report breaking news with urgency, impact and deliver quality reporting in high-pressure deadline situations
- Pitch viable, developed story ideas
- Develop and cultivate sources
- Shoot, write, and edit a minimum of one package and one vosot per shift

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field, preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent news writing and visual story-telling ability
- Familiarity with digital video cameras, non-linear editing, and Social *** platforms

Then take that concept and bring it to life through outstanding videography and editing as well as script writing. Video content will include station promotion, client commercials, short-form documentaries, and more.
