Job Summary/Description:

Our Award winning; duopoly ****- *** & *** is looking for a passionate sports journalist who can command the sports anchor desk. The right hire will anchor our highly successful weekend sportscast, and find compelling sports stories 3 days during the week.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Produce, write, shoot and edit daily sports-related stories for our newscasts
- Assist in planning daily and long-term promotable coverage for station and other *** stations
- Produce and lead effort in production of sports specials throughout the year
- Helping to produce our "Friday Night Lights" and other daily sports segments

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience
- Strong local sports judgment
- Videography and non-linear editing experience

Job Summary/Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of anchor experience, be able to produce a newscast, follow current events and present news stories to audiences in an informative, interesting and unbiased way. Keep abreast of news developments by studying papers, attending events, etc.

The candidate also must be able to create team moments, handle breaking news and give a warm presence to the audience. Responsibilities will be to communicate with MMJ's, Assignment Manager and Assistant News Director to anchor a fast paced, smoothly sequenced, and fact based newscast daily. Producing knowledge is required.

Job Summary/Description:

Duties/Responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Identify, develop, and expand existing and new client relationships & key accounts

• Make customer focused sales presentations to all classification of clients to obtain orders for advertising time

• Develop short and long range plans for revenue growth. Overachieve monthly/quarterly in new local direct television and digital l revenue quotas
• Negotiate advertising rates, create oral & written presentations; coordinate commercial production with creative team.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Must be accomplished with the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

**** / ****-TV in the Peoria-Bloomington, IL television market is seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Traffic Coordinator.

Responsibilities include: Program Schedules, input daily episodic information, prepare Satellite information, and update network changes. Maintain program contracts & useage, and file contracts. Distribute weekly schedules. This position is also responsible for assisting with FCC compliance and serves as a backup to the Operations Coordinator. Other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements: Must be skilled with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Great attention to detail is essential. Strong analytical ability and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
