Job Summary/Description:

**** / **** is looking for a Multi *** Journalist with a passion for telling visual stories on all platforms. The MMJ position with Interior Alaska's #1 news team is the perfect fit for someone who is creative, digital savvy, and not afraid to try new things.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Research, gather, write, and report news stories on-air and online in the most accurate, appealing, timely, and creative way using all sources
- Report “live” on the scene, especially during breaking news
- Conduct interviews in the field and on-set
- Develop and maintain sources of information and knowledge about assignments
- Demonstrate sound news judgment, and collaborate with others to present the story
- Must be able to utilize non-linear editing equipment on a daily basis
- Enterprise hard-news, research-driven packages under tight deadlines
- Must be a visual storyteller
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Must thrive in a team environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's in broadcast journalism desired but willing to train candidates with strong writing skills.
- Must have valid driver's license.

Job Summary/Description:

We're looking for a marketing specialist for our broadcast and suite of digital products – a local business expert that can work with business owners and help them build effective marketing campaigns and develop creative ideas that achieve results! We want a career-oriented person willing to work hard and build great relationships in the business community.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Connect with local businesses (clients) for the purpose of helping them with their marketing needs through the use of broadcast and digital advertising, including the production of commercials for our stations and digital display ads for webcenterfairbanks.com as well as extended digital products.
· Seek out new business opportunities.
· Develop presentations, proposals, and campaigns, including creative ideas for production (both video and digital display ads.)
· Quarterback execution of campaign with all departments as necessary (sales, promotion, news, creative services.)
· Develop a working knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic, *** Sales, and Matrix.
· Utilize resources from *** Training, AdMall and TVB.
· Handle all paperwork/forms needed to execute campaign – ordering, coordinating, and ensuring it runs as negotiated.
· Maintain good client relations.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Experience in marketing and digital sales a plus but ****-TV will train.
· Creativity, self-motivated, and enthusiastic personalities are required.
· Must be over 18 years of age.
· Driver’s license and vehicle required. · All candidates must also have strong written and oral communications skills, be proficient and comfortable with computers (Microsoft office), be able to make decisions without supervision and work both independently and as part of a team.

**** is seeking a Television Broadcast Operator. You must possess attention to detail skills. This position monitors on-air television programs. This position is shift work and may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Operate video and audio switching/routing equipment to deliver programs, station breaks, and announcements on-air according to pre-established program logs.
• Make programming changes according to established guidelines in the event of program discrepancies or emergencies.
• Record programming discrepancies in detailed station Discrepancy Reports.
• Record programming changes in station program log.
• Monitor transmitter operation and reports deviations or malfunctions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Punctuality is vital. Must be reliable and have dependable transportation.
• Ability to learn the operation of broadcast automation equipment for television broadcast.
• Ability to learn television terminology and procedures, keep detailed records.
• Ability to make rapid mathematical calculations and basic computer literacy/typing/keyboarding.
• Ability to perform tasks while under pressure to maintain deadlines.
• Make program change decisions independently using established guidelines.
