Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the Bally Sports RSN HR Department under the general direction of the RSN Director of Human Resources and Sinclair Corporate HR
- Respond to and resolve general HR inquiries from employees
- Act as a liaison *** ween employees, Corporate HR and/or vendors to answer questions about benefits, company policy or other HR related concerns
- File and maintain confidential personnel and other HR records within HRIS
- Process workflows within HRIS related to hiring, termination, employment status and benefit changes
- Utilize HRIS to run reports to track turnover, research compensation questions, perform quarterly audits of employee data and review other data as needed
- Facilitate communication to all employees, including new hires, on topics such as orientation, completion of required HR compliance training, benefits annual enrollment, employee recognition, quarterly HR Newsletter and other areas as needed.
- Conduct Offboarding, including exit interviews, and share feedback with management
- Manage Leave of Absence Administration
- Complete Verifications of Employment
- Assist with compliance reporting and workers comp administration
- Administer unemployment claims
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
Required Skills:
- Must be detail-oriented and exceptionally well organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, can-do attitude are essential
- Must take initiative and be a problem-solver
- The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Required Experience:
- An associates or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
- A minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in Human Resources preferred
- Previous Sports or broadcast experience is a plus
