The *** + Programming team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-ser *** merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
Job Summary:
The Content Planning Associate is responsible for helping to plan and execute the day-day release strategy for *** + US as well as *** + Originals globally. This individual will collaborate with stakeholders across *** + and *** - including Marketing, Communications, and Operations teams - to help inform how we schedule content to best support the needs of our business. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Content Planning.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Support day-to-day US planning and calendaring efforts, spanning acquisitions, current series, catalog, and special projects
- Support day-to-day *** + Originals planning, tracking, and communications with key stakeholders globally
- Identify and execute on opportunities to streamline processes and improve calendar visualizations and title tracking
- Maintain Orig/US/CA planning team's tools and system needs
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
- Experience in fields related to scheduling, slate planning, or content strategy, ideally in digital *** and entertainment. SVOD or Linear TV experience a plus.
- Airtable experience is preferred
- Strong written, presentation, and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not clearly defined, constantly evolving through self-reliance and resourcefulness
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Passion and insight into *** segments, brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.
- Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years experience in a related field
The hiring range for this position in CA is $69,946.00 to $93,830.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
