Compensation Consultants assist in the planning & development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs for Cast Members, Imagineers and Crew within *** Parks, Experiences & Consumer Products. They are responsible for providing ad *** and counsel to leaders pertaining to the total rewards strategy of their workforce. They also assist with researching and evaluating alternative programs to help attract, retain and engage the employees in the organization.
Additionally, this role will project manage a variety of initiatives, ranging from internal process improvements to client driven programs. These projects may include: conducting benchmark studies to determine market position; conducting analysis of both union and non-union jobs; and providing recommendations to senior leaders within the organization around regulatory matters.
Given the global nature of compensation, this position will have the opportunity to interface with peers from other parts of *** , including international team members, to gain and share a broad knowledge of compensation practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead compensation projects and analyses with peers
Provide support in the union negotiations process
Conduct market benchmark assessments
Evaluate and level new and existing jobs
Complete rate quotes for newly promoted and newly hired employee
Basic Qualifications:
Proven analytical, problem solving, partnering and program-design skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Minimum 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in Finance, Human Resources or related field
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in compensation
Demonstrated knowledge of Workday and SAP
Proven experience in project management
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources or equivalent
The hiring range for this position in California is $111,900.00 to $136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
