We want you to shake things up in Titletown!

**** YOU'LL DO:

• Develop sources and break relevant stories on all platforms.

• Pitch, shoot, write, edit, and track compelling enterprise and real-time stories.

• Confirm accuracy of information before publishing, posting, or broadcasting stories.

• Pitch stories that impact local communities and neig *** rhoods.

• Become an expert in your assigned neig *** rhood.

• Produce packaged reports and go live from the scene when necessary.

• Help news producers prepare newscasts by identifying the best video and sound, and showcasing elements.

• Think digital first. Publish and post regular updates as information dictates.

• Act as the point person for the digital landing pages for your community.

**** YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or related degree or equivalent years of experience.

• Minimum of two years of experience preferred.

**** YOU'LL BRING:

• Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a desire to change the way local news is gathered and presented.

• Deep knowledge of current and emerging social *** platforms.

• Computer literacy required, including newsroom computer systems.

• Basic videography and non-linear editing experience preferred.

• Ability to edit video on Final Cut Pro editing systems, or similar equipment.

• Strong broadcast and AP-style writing skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Valid driver's license and good driving record required. In addition, proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.

****, the *** *** station in Green Bay, WI is hiring a Director! The Director works in all areas of television production and is responsible for directing fast-paced, complex newscasts and other local programming, as well as, assisting in completion of pre-production for newscasts.

**** YOU'LL DO:

• Oversees the set up and operations of equipment including camera, audio, video and lighting. Constructs and dismantles set.
• Ensures smooth operation of technical equipment and services during broadcast.
• Troubleshoots technical problems during production or broadcast.
• Directs assigned newscasts, which include "switching" newscasts and other productions, completing the pre-production for all newscasts and checking all sources prior to air.
• Monitors the status of all live shots and content prior to a live newscast.
• Works closely with news department, directors, producers, and promotions to ensure that the desired on-air look is attained with a minimal amount of errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

**** YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in TV production or related preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a director/technical director.
• Working knowledge of television station production equipment.

**** YOU'LL BRING:

• Must be familiar with all aspects of television production including audio, switching, digital effects, camera operation and shot composition, lighting, and character generators.
• Good working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under extreme time constraints with poise and skill.
• Solid leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of proper composition, grammar and spelling.
• Must have excellent communication skills; ability to give directions in a clear, efficient manner.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Capable of working well with commercial clients while adding a creative look to commercial spots.
• Must be familiar with all aspects of television production such as lighting, character generators, and news automation.
• Must be a team player.

• Constant viewing of multiple video and computer monitors.
• Flexible work hours required, including holidays, weekends, evenings and possible overtime hours.

****, The *** *** Company affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is looking for a Digital Content Producer to join its team. The Digital Content Producer organizes, writes scripts and updates content on digital platforms with a primary focus on local websites, mobile apps, and social *** platforms. They are responsible for creating compelling content that is aligned with and enhances the station's and/or *** brand.

**** YOU'LL DO:

• Write and edit content including headlines, short news alerts and teases, enhancing content with outside links, maps, slideshows.
• Publish and manage content on multiple digital platforms, including the station's local website, mobile and social networks using current production and web-delivery tools.
• Produce digital video when assigned.
• Assist in online coverage of major news events, breaking news and severe weather to ensure high quality consistent community coverage online.
• Build out special sections and site features to enhance coverage and increase user engagement.
• Update and interact with fans/followers on social *** .
• Anchor/host content for digital platforms as assigned.
• Coordinate with editorial and technical staff to facilitate the migration of multi *** content to new *** platforms, including video, audio, still photos and graphics.
• Work with other departments, including sales and marketing, as needed on site and/or station initiatives that require content integration.
• Works with anchors, reporters and photographers on pitching and creating both horizontal and vertical video for social and owned platforms
• Optimize the user experience by tracking live web metrics and user experience best practices.
• Apply SEO best practices to every piece of content.

**** YOU'LL NEED:

• BS/BA in related discipline or commensurate experience.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in related field.
• Experience with Content Management Systems, HTML, Audio.
• Excellent video editing skills. Experience editing socially focused videos is a plus.
• Editing, Image Editing, CSS and Social Networking preferred.

**** YOU'LL BRING:

• Must have a strong desire to focus on web-based content.
• Must have basic HTML formatting skills and knowledge of how to FTP/publish web content.
• Must be creative, have good people skills and be able to handle deadline pressure and need to multi-task.
• Must have strong newspaper-style writing, editing and headline skills.
• Must have knowledge and experience with still-image photography using digital cameras/hand held video cameras.
• Must have working knowledge of how to use and update social *** platforms.
• Must have photo editing skills with ability to manipulate, crop, enhance images as needed for publishing on website.
• Basic video editing skills a plus.
