Job Summary/Description:

Are you looking to get your foot in the door at a dominant, award-winning television station? ****-TV is looking for creative, innovative team player to support our newscasts. We are looking for a part-time associate producer. The ideal candidate will have a love for all things news and a desire to grow and excel in the *** business.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Write/Edit news stories under deadline
- Produce content for kait8.com, Region 8 News app, Region 8 Weather app
- Follow strategic plan for newsroom
- Assist with producing newscasts
- Must have excellent people skills to deal with wide range of staff members and experience levels

Qualifications/Requirements:

• College degree preferred
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Enjoy a fast paced environment
• Prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
