You are expected to develop sources and pitch original stories. Also, you will multi-task in a 'digital-first' environment, breaking stories on social/digital platforms as well as on-air. The ideal candidate has a passion for news and the skill to always deliver impactful, original stories.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $38.46 to $43.95. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
DUTIES OF THIS JOB INCLUDE:
- Enterprising stories with depth, developing sources.
- Managing time and meeting multiple on-air and digital deadlines.
- Working with producers to deliver great reporting and content on daily assignments.
- Collaborating with producers and managers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Working with *** creation tools and contemporary newsroom systems
- Skilled in daily storytelling across multiple platforms
- Three to 5 years on-air experience
- Able to handle the pressure of meeting strict deadlines
- College degree in journalism or related field
