Responsibilities
The Risk Management Services Business Analyst (BA) role is responsible for research, analysis, and reporting on leading and lagging indicators found within Risk Management Services, Safety and Health Services data. The BA will perform basic to advanced analysis to determine continuous improvement opportunities with the assistance of the Senior Business Analyst, the Lead Business Analyst, and the guidance of the manager of the team. The role will provide data insights and refined metrics to support key business partners in Safety, Risk Management Services, Legal and Health Services. The BA role will be required to tell a concise but comprehensive story of how to keep guests and cast members safe.
As part of the *** Parks and Resorts Legal division, the role will be responsible for data analysis for the legal department. The analysis of the BA is protected and confidential.
The BA will participate in team meetings to help strategize / improve quality of reporting, visualizations, and storytelling.
Daily activities could include:
- Ad hoc reporting for Legal or other partners
- Daily sustainment reporting
- Pre-analytic data integrity checks and cleanup
- Data analysis for projects
- Design visual representations of data
- Presentations to leadership
- Weekly review and reporting from control charts and exploratory das *** ards as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent
- Proven ability to tell a coherent and concise story, using data to executives
- Demonstrated proficiency in presenting complex information
- Proven ability to analyze and investigate customer requests for data / analysis
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to network with others
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with Business Objects, Microsoft Office or other querying tools
- Demonstrated advanced PowerPoint or Keynote skills
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
- Proven experience in statistics and analytical methodology
- Demonstrated self-starter, work with moderate supervision, and able to balance several priorities and meet established deadlines
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in statistical analysis and/or process improvement
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau, SQL, SAS, Python, R, or SPSS
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, MBA, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Risk Management and/or Safety
- Minimum of 3 years *** World experience
