Consumer Insights, Measurement, & Analytics is a Global Marketing & Sales organization within *** Experiences that drives consumer centric decision-making through a deep understanding of the marketplace, consumers and our guests. We are seeking an inspiring and collaborative leader to serve as Senior Manager, Consumer Insight to support the *** World business. The Senior Manager will lead a team responsible for developing, executing, synthesizing, and leveraging research, analytics, and other internal and external sources of insight to shape Marketing Strategies that drive the business. This position partners closely with Marketing and Sales Strategy, Customer Engagement and Creative Teams and will be primarily focused on advancing a deep understanding of various consumer audiences including behaviors, motivators, attitudes, and barriers to develop recommendations. This position also oversees insight support for campaign development, testing and measurement, and informing and measuring marketing activations and tactics for the *** World Resort.
This role is based in Celebration, FL and reports to the Director-Consumer Insight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and professionally develop a Consumer Insight team
- Create research roadmaps that appropriately prioritize resources to meet company objectives
- Independently manage (and assist team in managing) all phases of the market research process including needs identification, project design, execution, analysis, and presentation of results
- Establish credibility as a partner who can translate insight into actionable, business-driving strategies
- Foster relationships with external and internal partners, building i *** uence
- Create succinct and compelling communications that i *** uence senior leadership
- Identify and implement innovative solutions
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience in a related field
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of business, consumer and marketplace dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple data sources into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent storytelling skills
- Critical thinker, able to sort through complex business issues and problem-solve as needed
- Able to conceptualize and build an analytic and/or research plan, design questionnaires, and mine through data to uncover relevant insights
- Solutions-oriented individual willing to challenge established thinking and practices
- Comfortable adapting to change and works effectively with ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-functional partners to positively impact the business
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities and timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting creative assessment, guest experience measurement, pricing studies, product innovation, forecasting consumer behavior, or similar studies
- Experience with SPSS, SQL, SAS or Tableau
- Forecasting consumer behavior/experience with models
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
