Job Summary/Description:

**** 7 News seeks a newscast producer who is looking for the opportunities and tools needed to produce award-winning and innovative newscasts. The producer will work closely with news managers, reporters, photographers and anchors to create high-quality, high-energy, innovative and authentic broadcasts.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

-Content and overall production of local newscasts
-Oversee all details of the broadcast while working closely with all members of the news team
-Stack the rundown
-Manage the on-air broadcast from the control room
-Contribute story ideas for the newscast and work closely with reporters to execute those ideas
-Produce news content for all station distribution platforms – broadcast, digital, mobile
-Also respond quickly and aggressively to breaking news and getting information on the air
-Copy-edit reporter scripts as well as all newscast copy
-Edit video for multiple platforms
-Must work a flexible schedule when needed to cover other shifts and breaking news
-Work cooperatively as a team member under tight deadlines and ensure accuracy of and update information for the on-air news ticker/crawl system.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Degree in Journalism or related field
- Previous work or internship in journalism is a plus
- Someone who can identify great video and compelling sound bites
- Have solid news judgment
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to edit video and the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good writing skills

Job Summary/Description:

**** is currently searching for a Multi *** Marketing Consultant to work with local businesses to help them generate sales and increase their profitability. This position utilizes an audience-based sales approach, selling across all product platforms to provide marketing solutions to current and new customers. All candidates should have proven closing abilities, be skilled at cold calling, and can develop New Business. Candidate must be enthusiastic, confident, driven, and a self-motivated hunter. If you excel at developing new clients, selling multi-platform solutions, and creating unique ideas to market products, then you would make a great addition to our team.

Duties/Responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Create a strategic business plan to meet and exceed revenue goals and targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Develop new local direct business
• Conduct Needs Analysis and account reviews to uncover the customer's most essential needs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and value to customers.
• Create and deliver formal presentations to clients/prospects
• Provide follow-up assessments of advertising effectiveness
• Collaborate with Traffic personnel to provide timely and accurate traffic instructions
• Use CRM (Matrix) to manage day to day activity, weekly/quarterly projections
• Conduct account maintenance including make-goods, posts reports, aging & collections

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education (experience in outside sales considered a plus)
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic personality is crucial
• Must be able to manage time effectively, work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient in using MS Office products and CRM software
• A real desire to understand clients and their business needs
• Must be creative, flexible, and able to adapt to industry changes
• Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and complete specific tasks on time
• Driver’s license and dependable transportation require
• MVR required

Job Summary/Description:

****-TV in Lake Charles seeks a motivated and dynamic MMJ to join our news team. Successful candidate must be a proven leader who is fearless, motivated and passionate about storytelling. Ideal candidate must be an effective communicator who excels in reporting. The ability to cultivate sources and produce enterprise stories is a must. Applicant must have a love for local news, a passion for creative storytelling, a positive attitude, a desire to innovate and a passion for being “live.”

You will be generating your own story ideas, set up own interviews, write broadcast and digital versions of stories. Also maintain professional social *** accounts and assist producers on showcasing stories. Write, shoot, edit and go live on stories for multiple newscasts in the same day, work under deadlines, present live news in urgent and active manor, produce content for ****-TV, ****TV.com as well as **** Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and OTT sites. Also, must follow strategic plan for the newsroom, assist with producing newscasts, pitch story ideas with station's "At Your Service" brand in mind, must have excellent people skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess strong live reporting skills and be driven by breaking news. The successful candidate must also be proficient on all digital platforms and meet mandated social *** goals. Driving, shooting video, shooting your own live shots, video editing and writing are required for this position. College Degree in Journalism or related field, internship and or professional newsroom experience, experience with Edius, ENPS and LiveU is a plus. MVR is also required.

Our award-winning production team is seeking a creative, quality-conscious producer to write, shoot, and edit commercials, industrial videos, television station promotions and short-form programming.

You will be responsible for station on air and social *** , working with Sales Department and Commercial clients, script writing, videography, postproduction with Adobe Creative Suite. Also, graphic design, producing and directing, and assist News Department when necessary.
