Job Description/Summary:

We seek self-starters with a sense of urgency who can sell new business on-air, on-line, and on mobile platforms while maintaining and growing existing business. This position is for an Advertising & Marketing Sales person with a self-starter mentality and with the ability to to be customer ser *** oriented. This individual must be able to assess needs of local businesses and then develop custom advertising/marketing solutions for clients across television and digital platforms. Customer ser *** is important as this individual will be stewarding their clients' campaigns. Emphasis on new business development will be key for this individual.

Candidate duties/responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Drive advertising sales across all **** platforms: on-air, on-line, and mobile
- Make sales calls to new and existing clients
- Exceed budget through new and existing business development
- Continually prospect and develop new and non-traditional revenue opportunities
- Establish relationships; interact and positively i *** uence both internal and external customers
- Understand client needs and collaborate with inernal teams to create customized, integrated solutions
- Develop marketing and advertising plans for clients
- Build and deliver compelling sales presentations
- Participate in execution from pre-sell through post-recap of all advertising strategies
- Manage orders for accuracy
- Develop quarterly and annual plans to drive revenue and market share
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Candidate must have strong prospecting, marketing, presentation and closing skills. A demonstrated track record of past selling skills is required; *** and/or marketing background is a plus. We are looking for a self starter with a strong work ethics and integrity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving and organizational abilities are a must. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are needed; Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit *** Sales and Monarch experience are a plus. The ideal candidate will have a creative and tenacious spirit and enjoy working and collaborating on projects.

Job Summary/Description:

Lubbock's legacy station is looking for a digital news content producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a journalist with strong writing skills who creates news content across all digital platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Working quickly to send out breaking news, weather, and traffic alerts, including push notifications, social *** updates, and web stories that are updated as news develops
- Thinking outside the box; contributing in ways to grow our already dominant digital presence
- Monitoring social *** and other digital sources to find new content
- Collaborating with members of the digital team and the newsroom to create news content that meets our high standards
- Posting to our online and social *** platforms using digital publishing tools, video editing software, and other resources
- Creating innovative and user-friendly elements inside of articles for consumption across our platforms, including photo galleries, interactive charts, and other embedded content
- Additional duties as assigned, including assignment desk help and conducting interviews for stories
- Ability to field viewer calls, and cold call sources to confirm tips & scanner traffic
- Assisting the Digital Content Manager on implementing Digital Initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Degree in journalism/communications/English or equivalent background preferred
- Some newsroom experience preferred
- Preferred knowledge of ENPS, Google Analytics, and other tools
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

- Understanding of and adherence to AP Style
- Availability to work various hours as breaking news or special events warrant; but understand we have a sizeable staff to spread across all dayparts

The Sports Director produces and anchors sports reports for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers.

• Produces and presents sports reports for all platforms
• Ensures that all sports content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality
• Writes and delivers sports stories in a clear and concise manner
• Assists in writing, copy editing, researching and coordinating sports programming and other content
• Responds to breaking sports events and other urgent newsrooms situations as required
• Works closely with the sports team to develop comprehensive sports coverage

Requirements & Skills :

• Minimum five years' experience in sports reporting or anchoring
• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of sports and sports related activities
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when required
• Superior on-air presence
• Experience guiding, directing and motivating others
• Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills

Job Summary/Description:

**** is seeking an executive producer to join our team. This management position is responsible for the editorial content and overall look of our PM newscasts. The executive producer will work with producers, anchors, news director and assistant news director to deliver top-quality newscasts.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Will work closely with producers to deliver accurate and compelling newscasts up to our high standard
- Will find ways to improve and innovate our newscast presentation
- Will check reporter's work, anchor scripts, video and graphics

- Will oversee breaking news coverage
- Will coordinate with other newsroom managers to make sure station initiatives are met
