Job Summary/Description:

****-TV 8 is looking for a multi *** journalist passionate about covering local news. The ideal candidate is ready to head out into the field to cover breaking news and weather, do creative live shots, and report on the top story every day. There will be opportunities to fill-in anchor and produce on ****, **** and our streaming platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Research, gather, shoot, write, edit and report news stories for on-air and online
- Report live on the scene, especially during breaking news
- Anchor on a fill-in basis
- Research stories and conduct interviews in the field
- Develop and maintain sources of information and knowledge about assignments
- Demonstrate sound news judgment, collaborate with others
- Utilize non-linear editing equipment (Edius)
- Enterprise hard-news, research-driven stories
- Participate in the story selection process through meetings, and the daily contribution of story ideas
- Post and regularly update stories and other material on the web and social ***
- Make regular beat checks
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Ability to work well with a team
- Ability to write in a clear, concise, conversational manner
- Computer literacy is a must
- Previous television experience, including college stations, is preferred
- A successful candidate will be creative, extremely detail-oriented, and have problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills
- Candidate must possess a clean driving record

Job Summary/Description:

Technical *** Producers work in ****'s state-of-the-art *** control center. They are responsible for directing live and pre-recorded productions and processing content for our television stations and ****.com. An ideal candidate would be willing to learn and tech-savvy.

Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Work alongside news producers and other newsroom staff to create, code, and direct dynamic, fast-paced, top-rated newscasts and programming
- Coordinate live acquisition of reporters and news video utilizing TVU, Live Link, and satellite feeds
- Design compelling and engaging graphics and visual elements to help our journalists communicate their stories
- Monitor on-air signals for ****, ****, ****, and Circle, ingest daily programming and commercials, and operate the Master Control automation system
- Be responsible for regular care and maintenance of equipment and studio, including lighting, cameras, and sets
- Occasional operation of studio teleprompter, floor directing, and various other duties as assigned will be required

Qualifications/Requirements:

- The successful candidate will be creative, extremely detail-oriented, and have very strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced and dynamic environment under deadline pressure
- Able to work well with a team
- Flexible to work mornings, nights, and weekends
- Able to sit and stand for extended periods. Able to climb and work on ladders and comfortably lift 30 pounds or more
- Computer literacy is a must
- Strong grasp of visual design, grammar, and spelling
- While previous television experience is preferred, it is not required
- Experience with HD video production, Ross Overdrive, Vision switchers, Ross Xpression Graphics, NVerzion Master Control Automation, ENPS, and non-linear editing systems is a definite plus

Job Description/Summary:

****-TV is looking for a content-driven creative newscast producer to join our award-winning news team. The producer should have the ability to find and share relevant news with the audience through creative storytelling. If you're curious about local, national, and international news, the producer role will allow you to plan, write, and execute a newscast.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Work alongside newsroom staff to produce assigned newscasts.
- You'll be responsible for story selection and writing stories using available video, interviews, graphics, and other resources to convey what is happening in a way that viewers can understand.
- Clearly communicate with production staff, anchors, and reporters.
- Write stories in a fair, concise, and accurate manner without errors or typos.
- Keep the newscasts produced on time and act as a decision-maker in the production control room.
- Edit video/audio for air

Qualifications/Requirements:

Job Summary/Description:

****-TV is seeking an experienced Account Executive. The Account Executive is responsible for growing existing accounts and attracting new advertisers with broadcast and digital advertising.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Grow existing accounts and attract new advertisers.
• Maintain and keep Account Receivables current.
• Help accounts plan and create ideas for their business.
• Forecast each week monthly sales.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3 years of sales experience required, preferably Broadcast, Print or Radio.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are fundamental to creating and persuasively presenting broadcast and digital products to customers.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, clean driving record, strong references, and able to contribute from day one.
• A team player is a must.
