The role:We're looking for a passionate, motivated service-orientated individual to come join our team. In this role you will be expected to design, deliver and manage ser *** improvement initiatives, drive collaboration and organizational effectiveness, program manage complex internal projects, design and build infrastructure utilities that are used by the Ser *** Delivery Teams and work with the individual teams to enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization.
The technical project manager (TPM) must be a leader with a vision for the given project, helping to persuade and motivate the team. The TPM needs to assemble the team and brainstorm with them throughout the various project phases.
The TPM meets regularly with stakeholders to manage their expectations, keep them updated and make sure the project aligns with their goals and objectives. This entails the creation of a project plan that organizes tasks, schedules work and allocates resources.
During the project, as the project team executes tasks, the TPM oversees their work to make sure their workload is balanced. That allows them to work more productively and not burn out due to a surplus of tasks.
Depending on the size of the project, the TPM is also responsible for collaborating with the various department heads in the organization as they relate to the project. Coordinating these various entities can be a steep hurdle to clear, but a TPM may also have work with outside vendors. Being able to build these relationships is key to running a successful project.
Responsibilities:- Develop and manage the project, communication, resource plans and processes.
- Analyze all management and technical processes to ensure they are delivered as expected.
- Meet regularly with project stakeholders and define project goals and objectives.
- Lead budget and resource allocation through all project phases.
- Schedule project timelines.
- Make estimates for timelines/schedule.
- Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and manage projects.
- Establish and train teams on processes and strategies.
- Oversee day-to-day technical operations, including assignments and personnel review.
- Define roles and responsibilities of the team and determine clear deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with key Enterprise clients as a point-of-contact.
- Identify systemic issues and escalate appropriately by representing risks to the business.
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner across all organizational levels.
- Continually look for ways to improve workflows and partner with our engineering teams to enhance operational tools.
- Identify opportunities to implement and drive adoption of self-ser *** solutions to meet client needs.
- Identify team and personal workflow efficiencies through tooling and process improvement.
You'll need to have:- Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems and provide solutions.
- Excellent communicative skills, both verbal and written.
- 2+ years' experience in a customer facing position.
- The ambition to take ownership and responsibility of issues and handle them effectively through to resolution.
- "Very Strong" Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- A passion for customer service.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeaner when handling complex and time sensitive issues.
- A basic understanding of market data and associated financial instruments.
- Ability to derive requirements from stakeholders via email, meetings, and conference calls.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology or Finance.
- Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
