Work with executive team, shared services accounting, and corporate human resources teams to ensure proper communication *** ween station team members and *** Television, Inc. Job Summary/Description:

**** *** 7, located in Sarasota, Florida is looking for our next Technical *** Producer (TMP) with a background in newscast directing. The ideal candidate will be a newscast director at heart, thriving on bringing aggressively produced newscasts to life in an automated control room using Ross Overdrive. This individual must be hard-working, self-motivated and creative. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. This position includes both newscast directing and Master Control duties. Must have some experience directing. Master Control experience a plus.

PLEASE NOTE: This position supports multiple dayparts & newscasts. You will be scheduled overnights, mornings and weekends in this initial capacity.

- Monitor all broadcast streams for ****

- Newscast Directing experience required
- Experience with Ross Overdrive, VizRT, Nverzion automation, ENPS, and non-linear editing systems preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Products (Including Photoshop & Premiere Pro) is a plus
- Master Control experience with Nverzion or any automation preferred
- Flexibility with scheduling and job assignments

This journalist will start the broadcast day with a desire to deliver top quality content on the desk and in the field. Our next morning anchor must have a demonstrated track record of professionalism and success, balancing top quality delivery performance on camera with leadership backstage in the newsroom. Our station is MMJ Driven, and you’ll be expected to produce general assignment and enterprise stories when not on the desk. You’ll be expected to generate interest and excitement for our journalism by committing to our digital first philosophy and social *** strategy. Community ser *** is at the heart of our mission, and you’ll be expected to participate in station events and make public appearances as an ambassador for our station.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

- Anchor newscasts as assigned with clean, engaging and thoughtful delivery
- Report lead stories in multiple newscasts as an MMJ
- Write and post real time updates on digital and social platforms
- Engage audience through social channels and personal appearances
- Develop and maintain contacts with local newsmakers and experts
- Ability to partner with newsroom managers, to increase productivity and teamwork

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Demonstrated track record of producing news reports from the field with MMJ Equipment & Cell phone
- At least two years' experience as an Anchor & MMJ
- Confident & experienced performance on air
- Ability to handle breaking news on-air, online and behind the scenes in timely and professional manner
- Leadership of the news team and a trusted editorial voice
- Internship in a commercial newsroom
- Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience
