Job Summary/Description:

**** *** 7, located in Sarasota, Florida is looking for our next Technical *** Producer (TMP) with a background in newscast directing. The ideal candidate will be a newscast director at heart, thriving on bringing aggressively produced newscasts to life in an automated control room using Ross Overdrive. This individual must be hard-working, self-motivated and creative. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. This position includes both newscast directing and Master Control duties. Must have some experience directing. Master Control experience a plus.

PLEASE NOTE: This position supports multiple dayparts & newscasts. You will be scheduled overnights, mornings and weekends in this initial capacity.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Monitor all broadcast streams for ****
- Operate Ross Overdrive & Ross Carbonite Black Switcher
- Direct live newscasts including breaking news, weather, specials and sports
- Daily work with ENPS newsroom computer system
- Understanding of all equipment in studio and master control area
- Daily care and maintenance of equipment and studio
- Operate master control Nverzion Automation with a Harmonic Video Server, including the ability to effectively perform the following: commercial/program ingest & QC, Satellite operations, controlling the automation system
- Work closely with other departments to meet all daily demands
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Newscast Directing experience required
- Experience with Ross Overdrive, VizRT, Nverzion automation, ENPS, and non-linear editing systems preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Products (Including Photoshop & Premiere Pro) is a plus
- Master Control experience with Nverzion or any automation preferred
- Flexibility with scheduling and job assignments
- Willingness to learn new hardware and software

Job Summary/Description:

*** 7 is searching for our next Newscast & Web Producer for our digital first newsroom. To qualify, you must show you have mastered producing basics, and have a demonstrated commitment to story showcasing using targeted layering. Our next producer will embrace the concept of a hungry rundown, aggressively adding "happening now" live content and real time social interaction.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Two years newscast producing experience helpful
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate
- An internship in a commercial newsroom
- A degree or intensive course work in communications and/or journalism
- Knowledge of video editing and scripting software
- Experience with web and social platforms

Job Summary/Description:

Own breaking news live shots in the early evening, and then develop your brand on the desk in the late evenings as *** 7's next Senior MMJ / Anchor. This is a great opportunity to produce lead stories, while spreading your wings as a newsroom leader. You'll become a face of the station, as we commit to hyperlocal coverage on Florida's Suncoast. You should be comfortable with MMJ Workflows, and thrive on the breaking news pivot. Our newsroom believes in a digital-first philosophy, and you'll be expected to break your story on the web, push it on social, and add emotion and context on television. Clean and confident delivery in the studio and live in the field is a must; so is leadership behind the scenes in the newsroom. This teammate should have a positive, can-do attitude, that inspires the team.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

- Develop and maintain contacts with local newsmakers and experts
- Pitch confirmed ideas in daily editorial meetings
- Shoot, Edit and File assigned news reports in television, digital and social formats
- Produce live enterprise and breaking stories using MMJ workflows
- Deliver content with clean, engaging, and thoughtful delivery
- Anchor Newscasts as assigned
- Write and post real-time updates on digital and social platforms
- Engage the audience through social channels and personal appearances
- Ability to partner with newsroom managers and teammates, and teamwork

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Excellent writing, storytelling, and editing skills
* Solid news judgment
* Must be able to report in a broad range of styles with good on-air presentation skills
* Work under pressure
* Familiarity with all distribution platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Internet etc.
* Bachelor`s Degree in Broadcast Journalism or equivalent is required
* Motor Vehicle Records check are required
