**** YOU'LL DO:

• Design and implement tier-1 microservices in Java and/or Scala.
• Implement asynchronous processes to run in the cloud for various data transformation operations.

The hiring range for this remote position is $142,516 to $191,180 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. A Day in the Life...

The Data Science Intern on the *** Entertainment (DE) Research, Data & Insights - Data Management & Operations team will be responsible for developing and improving predictive models and unified insights on engagement across *** 's television portfolio. Primarily, modeling w ill be in support of viewership forecasting to optimize Ad Sales revenue, in support of the DTCI P&L's for digital. The Data Science Intern will develop new predictive models providing greater forecasting accuracy, build das *** ards to share model results and insights, as well as enhance storytelling over complex data. • Statistical Modeling: Design and develop new predictive models leveraging statistical and machine learning methods to measure and project a user's engagement with the *** platforms across many KPIs; Dig into drivers of change when interpreting forecasts and drive changes to the science in the forecast that will enhance accuracy;

As an intern, you'll gain experience and the opportunity to work across Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Analytics to contribute towards defining and shipping high impact features and products. We want interns to deeply understand the functions of product management and product design at the end of their internship by giving them an end-to-end view of the function by providing them with hands-on experience learning. Your Impact

The E-Commerce platform team develops a variety of tools for use by *** 's collection of publications and stations, ranging from marketplace platforms to local business and ser *** discovery tools. As these projects have matured, so has the demand for data and analytics to help us study their behavior, manage the customer experience, and identify ways to improve our products. Your Impact

The *** E-Commerce team is looking for an experienced UX Designer to lead our UX efforts for e-commerce advertising experiences built across our net-new marketplace initiative.

As the Senior UX Designer for e-commerce advertising, you will have ownership of all relevant customer-facing UX. With that, you will partner and collaborate with product management and engineering to ideate and bring to life new experiences for our customers. You will be looked at as the subject matter expert for designing delightful and highly functional user experiences that are based on best practices, data, and insights driven through thoughtful user research.

The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed and curious learner that embraces data-driven UX design and rapid experimentation. Our team will be focused on experiences that support a wide spectrum of customer types - as such, you should be someone excited about exploring the varying engagement and shopping behaviors across regions, industries, and customer segments. You should have excellent communication skills that span from visual documentation (sketches, user flows, wireframes, functional prototypes, and/or high-fidelity designs) to verbal presentation of complex ideas in easy-to-understand ways. With our many partners across multiple *** organizations, you should also have comfort in collaborating and presenting concepts to both junior and senior stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the full design process (from collaborative concept ideation through high-fidelity designs intended for engineering implementation).
• Partner with product management and engineering to identify research opportunities and design studies.
• Define and own user research and studies for your products, from research project definition through execution/presentation of findings.
• Present work to team members and key leadership stakeholders, as well as facilitate feedback and collaboration.
• Throughout the product lifecycle, proactively assess and recommend improvements to the user experience.
• Visualize design problems and information in ways that are easy for other team members to comprehend.
