Job Summary/Description:

**** News 12 is seeking an experienced, dynamic anchor for the market’s top-rated morning newscast.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Co-anchor 2-hour weekday morning newscast
• Copy edit and occasionally write scripts for morning and midday newscasts
• Record and broadcast live local news reports for our local radio partners daily
• Help produce midday newscast and fill-in anchor as needed
• Possess great live reporting skills for field anchoring and breaking news
• Help post digital content (news stories, interview segments, social *** , etc.)
• Appear at various community events that may occur outside normal shift
• Serve as mentor and teacher to young reporters and producers

Qualifications/Requirements:

College degree in related field preferred. Prior anchoring and on-air reporting experience preferred. Please include a link to your demo reel in your application. The right candidate will have the ability to anchor every type of story, be willing to book and perform live in-studio interviews, help produce the morning and midday newscasts, write great copy, edit video, and occasionally anchor or report from the field. Must possess strong writing and information gathering skills, be a quick thinker ready for anything, and have strong ad-lib abilities.

Job Summary/Description:

****-TV is seeking an experienced IT/Engineer that will work with hardware and broadcast systems that are used across television and new *** . They make sure that shows are broadcast on time and to the highest level of quality. As well as operating and maintaining the systems.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Assist engineering in their everyday duties at a broadcast facility
• Maintain computer systems – Desktop support
• Support engineering aspects of the technical facility including studio support, post editing systems, field production support and transmission of live/recorded events & programs
• Have knowledge regarding broadcast equipment, technology, and systems. To be able to step in and assist in emergency situations
• Performs regular maintenance tasks including repairs, equipment replacement, supplies, etc.
• Ensures all transmission equipment is operating correctly before and during live event telecasts - corrects and documents technical problems
• Documents and executes necessary corrective actions
• Assist with implementing Engineering projects
• Work flexible hours when needed
• Provide assistance as needed for remote broadcasts
• General handyman Building Maintenance, if needed
• Additional duties as required
• Knowledge of the inner workings of a broadcast facility is helpful
• Ability to troubleshoot computer-related issues
• Ability to work under potentially high-stress situations
• Physical Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Associates Degree in Electronics or Computer Science or higher is preferred, or job experience equivalent

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Electronic equipment diagnostics
• Have working knowledge of the latest operating systems software, including server and desktop operating systems
• Familiar with networking and IP addressing
• Must be available to work during breaking news situations, severe weather, new system integrations and updates
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and must have and maintain a clean driving record
