Job Summary/Description:

The IT Engineer will support the station in most IT related duties. Server maintenance and installations, managed switch support and installs, help desk requests, local phone exchange support and as needed broadcast support requests are some of the expectations of the job. Assisting the Chief Engineer in computer needs for desktop and server be it rebuilding a hard drive or imaging a new computer. They will also be providing input toward future computing requirements as requested from both corporate as well as the Chief Engineer.

Server maintenance and installations, manages switch support and installs, help desk requests, local phone exchange (PBX) support and as needed broadcast television support are all expectations of this job. Assisting the Chief Engineer in computer needs for desktop, laptop, server and workstation be it rebuilding a hard drive or imaging a new computer. They will also provide input toward future computing requirements as requested by both corporate and the Chief Engineer.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Should be familiar with supporting Apple operating systems, Linux operating systems, and Windows operating system environments
- Should be familiar with supporting non-linear audio/video editing software (Adobe, OBS, GV Edius)
- Should be familiar with scripting support in relation to automating installs and updates
- Should be familiar with managing the Active Directory structure of Windows Server enviromments
- General upkeep of server systems (CISCO HyperFlex nodes, The Weather Company, BitCentral, ENPS) as well as router/switch systems (CISCO, Ubiquiti)
- Work with various vendors on supporting above server systems in addition to requests for assistance down to the desktop level
- Support broadcast television equipment as requested by station personnel and/or the Chief Engineer
- Support local phone exchange system (PBX) by add/remove/move phones, manage voicemail, etc.
- Work within set deadlines for corporate and local projects as indicated from the Chief Engineer and corporate requests

Qualifications/Requirements:

- The applicant should be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- The applicant should have an applicable college degree with specializations in Computer Sciences or Engineering or have comparable work experience (MINIMUM of three (3) years working within this field of expertise). Previous television broadcast experience is preferred
- The applicant must have a valid drivers license

Job Summary/Description:

**** NEWS 12 in Shreveport has an important broadcast news producer position to fill. The candidate must be able to work in a highly functioning, experienced, talented newsroom. Candidate must be an excellent writer for all multi-platform content. Creative, aggressive producer who can tell impactful stories and enhance our award winning team's enterprise content.

Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Must be strong at managing breaking news and severe weather coverage, and be able to make sound split-second decisions during live broadcasts.
- Strong skills working with social *** , and gathering news worthy content from local agencies.
Must be able to think strategically from the producer chair daily, as well as motivate your team to execute your vision.
- Knowledge of ENPS preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 2 - 3 years of experience as a television producer.
- BS/BA in Journalism/Communications or equivalent background.
- Flexible work hours required, must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to: mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, weekends and possible overtime hours.
