About ****/****:****/**** ( *** / *** / *** ) is an award-winning television operation serving viewers in the eastern half of South Dakota as well as portions of southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. The stations operate from a new facility in downtown Sioux Falls as one rebranded organization called Dakota News Now. The Dakota News Now team produces 38 hours of news each week. Some of our employees have been here for more than 25 years. For others, this is their first job out of college. It’s a great mix that gives us different perspectives while covering the news. Whether your interest involves news, production, sales, marketing, or engineering, our stations become a hands-on learning environment for *** Television interns. If we have an employee doing it, there can be a *** intern learning and earning.
WIS offers a paid internship program in multiple departments. During a 10-12 week process, interns can get hands-on experience with a variety of roles within Columbia’s #1 local *** organization. Whether you’re pursuing journalism, business, or video production as a career path, this paid internship will provide you the opportunity to develop specialized skills and a powerful network of contacts.

Qualifications/Requirements: Be currently enrolled in a college/university
Strong work ethic, and organizational skills
College student, junior or senior, earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Advertising/PR, Entertainment & *** *** , or related fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience in the local *** industry
