Qualifications/Requirements:

Be currently enrolled in a college/university (preferred Junior/Senior)
Strong work ethic, and organizational skills
Earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, News, Sports, or related fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience in the local *** industry

Job Summary/Description:

Western Mass News is looking for a passionate and visual editor to join our award winning news team. The candidate must be able to work in a highly functioning, experienced, talented newsroom. Must have experience with non-linear equipment and have an ability to function in a deadline environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills needed. If you have an eye for powerful pictures and an ear for great sound, this is the job for you.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Editing video and sound for all WMN multi *** platforms
- Must display competence in videography and video editing
- Driving a company vehicle and any other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

-1-2 years of experience as a television editor or related internships
- Flexible work hours required, must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to: mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, weekends and possible overtime hours

Job Summary/Description:

Western Mass News ( *** 40, *** 3, *** 6) is seeking an organized, resourceful, detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our sales team. Qualified candidate must be able to assist with all aspects of sales to help achieve maximum bookings. Successful candidate should have a positive attitude, excellent time management, and organizational and communication skills combined with proven skills with Microsoft Office products.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assist the Sales Manager and Sales Staff with their daily duties.
- Assist in the development of sales proposals, marketing materials, reports, and client presentations.
- Coordinate digital ads and upload them to platform.
- Efficiently work with the team/management to deliver a high level of service.
- Create digital reports and track digital campaigns.
- Track progress on various sales initiatives.
- Assist in the handling of resolving billing discrepancies.
- Ability to perform at a high level, multitask efficiently and meet deadlines in this fast-paced environment.
- Input and maintain select orders for Account Executives, including revisions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Strong computer skills with attention to detail is essential.
- Functional knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Proficient communication skills.
- Work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of WideOrbit software is a plus, but willing to train.

Job Summary/Description:

Western Mass News seeks an experienced Broadcast Engineer/IT to maintain all Computer Networks, Servers, and Client CPUs. Will also support all team members on-site, in the field, and working remotely.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Design, Maintain, and Install Computer systems and networks
- Work with engineers to implement and maintain “crossover” computer systems to Audio/Video Systems
- Maintain equipment and support users for On Air and Live Production automation systems
- Responsible for keeping software licensing up to date and installed on systems
- Design implement and Maintain computer/network security policies, Understands Domain Controllers, Windows servers, Windows Clients, and Linux

Other Duties & Responsibilities -

- Assist engineering in their everyday duties as a broadcast facility
- Maintain Video Servers and editing systems
- Work flexible hours when needed
- Point of contact for corporate IT
- Provide assistance as needed for remote broadcasts
- Help maintain corporate trouble ticket system as required to support all Departments, including News, Production, Control Room, and Sales team members

Qualifications/Requirements:

Knowledge, Skill & Ability -

- Advanced IT knowledge and understanding of VM systems
- Knowledge of the inner workings of a broadcast facility
- Able to troubleshoot computers to board-level
- Management of Windows active directory network
