Your Role

The Manager, Project & Logistics reports to the Director of *** Archives & Preservation Services, in Burbank, California. The Project Manager tracks cross-team and cross-department projects, facilitates collegial communication, and creates standardized documentation as an outcome of our efforts to identify opportunities to perfect our workflows and adopt new technologies within Global Archives. Acts as chief liaison for WBD Technology support units regarding the Archives' tech stack administration and development efforts. This position works closely with our fellow business units in *** & Networks, Distribution, and in partnership with Production and Post-production groups across all our Brands.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Provides department staff support for internal and external tools. Chief liaison for 3rd party application/software onboarding, troubleshooting, etc. for Archives tech stack tools such as Smartsheet, AirTable, Tableau, Co *** uence, Xytech, and JIRA, etc.
• Acts as the primary resource for departmental project development planning, tracking, and reporting. Contributes to meeting agendas. Sets and runs project status meetings. Works closely with business stakeholders, technology strategy teams, Archives staff and management to ensure execution is tightly aligned with overall business unit needs, vision, and strategy.
• Works closely with Archives' staff, technology strategy teams, and business units to document business and process requirements including RFI/RFP, and PoCs. Drives product development, suggests enhancements, and integration of shared tools. Identifies opportunities to leverage existing and future technologies to streamline operations.
• Develops Global Archives reporting das *** ards inclusive of financials for budgeting, forecasting, capital requests, and long-term planning.
• Provides ad hoc reporting using MS SQL Server Management Studio and other tools. Interprets data models and descriptive standards in use in the Global *** Archive to supply insightful data analysis. Provides oversight and direction to the Data Analyst.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years in a *** archives, museum, broadcast environment, or a related field
• Previous experience working with inventory systems
• Previous experience with project management software
• Previous experience dealing directly with customers/customer service
• Experience working with all levels of corporate and production hierarchy
• College degree: Degree in Library Sciences, Business Systems, Communications or Computer Science preferred
• Certification: Project Management Certification preferred
• Strong Smartsheet expertise supporting users and developing solutions
• Strong Co *** uence expertise, and strong Tableau expertise
• Proficient utilizing collaborative tools, such as Slack and MS Teams
• Proficient in common MS Office tools, such as Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Proficient in utilizing ticketing systems, such as Workfront and JIRA
• Familiarity with entertainment *** terminology and technology strongly preferred
• Ability to provide good-looking and understandable executive summary reports on project progress weekly and monthly, including timelines, milestones, and blockers
• Ability to develop business plans in partnership with Archive staff, inclusive of timelines, staffing, supplies, and budget estimates
• Ability to prioritize open project tasks, effectively manage deadlines, and recalculate project timelines and cost projections based on new information

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of *** Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $58,800.00 - $109,199.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, *** Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.

Your Role

The Manager, Archives Exhibitions & Events supports *** Discovery Archives efforts to build and maintain our collections and tools, and acts as an enthusiastic advocate and personal representative for the Archive in the company by promoting our resources, programs, and services.

The Manager, Archives Exhibitions & Events is responsible for the daily management of loans provided by the *** Discovery Archives, Global Themed Entertainment and with other business groups, to identify and approve Archive holdings appropriate for exhibition and events and serves as our liaison *** ween Global Themed Entertainment and other groups for all *** Discovery brands.

The Manager, Archives Exhibitions & Events refines, implements, and upholds archival policies and procedures with regard to selecting, processing, documenting, transporting, and providing access to archival collections.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Responsible for research, selection, and execution of events and exhibitions. Supervise Archival Representatives, and other support staff and interns as assigned, to ensure they perform their duties appropriately. Provide training and coaching as needed.
• Liaise with Global Themed Entertainment, Production Executives, Marketing, Publicity, and other internal and external partners to ensure events and exhibitions are approved and branded appropriately. Support and ser *** requests for research and provide cost estimates.
• Partner with warehouse staff to ensure asset movement is seamless, and workspaces are in place to support the transfer of assets to and from Archives.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and accepted workflows (manage displays and exhibits, labor and security required for the event, ensure assets are processed correctly, and Loan Agreements and Carnets are properly documented, oversee valuations, etc.)

Experience & Qualifications

• Min 5 years' experience in Archives and Entertainment required
• Previous experience working with inventory systems (Asset Hub highly preferred)
• Previous experience with project management software (Asana highly preferred)
• Previous experience dealing directly with customers/customer service
• Experience working with all levels of corporate and production hierarchy
• MLIS/Archive Administration/Museum Curation preferred or equivalent work experience
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Candidate must possess excellent customer ser *** skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work collaboratively
• Should have excellent research skills
• Must be able to lift boxes or materials 25+ lbs. when necessary, working in an industrial/warehouse environment.
• Must be flexible

The Manager, Archives Collections is responsible for the daily communication and for maintaining a strong relationship *** ween *** Discovery Archives, Production entities and other business groups to identify production and legacy assets for transfer into Archive holdings, and serves as our liaison *** ween *** Discovery Productions and other groups for all *** Discovery brands.

The Manager, Archives Collections refines, implements, and upholds archival policies and procedures with regard to selecting, processing, documenting, and transporting archival collections.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Responsible for the appraisal, selection, and description of archival collections. Supervise Archival Representatives, and other support staff and interns as assigned, to ensure they perform their duties appropriately. Provide training and coaching as needed.
• Liaise with Producers, Production Department HOD's and Coordinators to ensure Archive staff have the access necessary to select assets and arrange transfer to and from the Archive. Support and ser *** Production requests for research, reuse, and repurposing.
• Partner with Warehouse staff to ensure asset movement is seamless, and workspaces are in place to support the transfer of assets to and from Archives.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and accepted workflows. Ensure assets are processed correctly and any weeding is communicated effectively to the Warehouse Supervisor to move non-selected assets through proper disposition workflows.

Experience & Qualifications

• Min 5 years' experience in Archives and Entertainment required
• Previous experience working with inventory systems (Asset Hub highly preferred)
• Previous experience with project management software (Asana highly preferred)
• Previous experience dealing directly with customers/customer service
