****/****/****-TV in Syracuse, NY has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Anchor!You will be required to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet and social networks, along with performing other duties as assigned by the news managers. The ability to work under deadlines and on a flexible schedule, that will include evenings and/or weekends, is required. The ideal candidate should have anchoring and live shot experience. We are looking for a strong writer, someone with sharp wit and the ability to work well with others. We're also looking for someone who is a self-starter and who can generate his or her own story ideas on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is a team player who works with news managers to devise and implement strategies to increase ratings. This position calls for a fully engaged anchor who comes in every day with enterprise story ideas and who is ready to jump in and write scripts, post content to our multiple digital platforms, and help out wherever needed.

We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated students who are looking to get the most out of their internship experience. If you are a resident of New York State or attending a school in New York and a first time entrant in the New York State Broadcasters Association (NYSBA) sponsored internship program, this may be the perfect program for you. This paid internship will involve all aspects of television broadcasting, including news, sales, promotion, commercial production, engineering, and operations. As an intern, you will get experience in all departments of the broadcast station.
