JOB DESCRIPTION
*** is looking for an Associate Director to operate and maintain mission critical facilities that include network and cable broadcast centers, office and an antenna receive/transmit earth station. We are currently in the process of renovating a state-of-the-art broadcast facility that will act as the broadcast and IP Streaming *** distribution center for *** . This position will be instrumental in the building out and management of mission critical systems for this facility. Assist in making strategic decisions on capacity growth, research and guide new choices of facilities systems technologies and overall maintenance of facility systems for the company.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer staff and budget
- Assist in implementation process of new systems and procedures
- Prepare and train staff to respond to adverse situations while maintaining building systems with minimal risk of impact to the broadcast stream in the event of utility disruptions, component failure or other adverse situations
- Design and construction of mechanical, electrical and plumbing
- Special projects, systems expansions, upgrades and replacements of end of life equipment and systems
- Improve system reliability and reduce operating cost while implementing with minimal impact to daily 24/7 on air mission critical operations
- Respond to day to day issues and resolve those issues promptly while considering the overall best position for the company
- Maintenance regimentation and creation of MOP and SOP guidelines and documents for mission critical facility
**** YOU **** NEED
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience in facilities / maintenance leadership
- Strong knowledge in BAS and EPMS systems
- Strong knowledge of office and mission critical equipment computer systems
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must have broad mechanical and electrical facilities knowledge
- Must be able to work under pressure
