Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Talent Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing Studio Talents (WC-Weekly Current) and Residuals (TA-Talents) in the SAP Payroll system, ensuring accurate payout and reporting to the guilds (i.e., SAG, AFTRA, DGA, AFM, WGA, & etc.), studio talent initial and profit participation compensations. In this role, the Talent Payroll Administrator will execute new payroll processing procedures as warranted and assist with and test software changes as it relates to the gross to net calculation and software end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze payment requests via SCORE and Office365 platforms for Studio Talents' initial compensation, contractual/recurring payouts, and/or profit participation
- Process Studio Talent on demand payrolls daily via SAP (Systems Applications & Products)
- Handle various processes such as: Check cancellations or reissues, Tax or Garnishment refunds, and other miscellaneous adjustments
- Balance the on and off-cycle payroll data to source documents for manager sign-off
- Analyze and report post-payroll data for anomalies
- Work closely with Finance and Treasury team regarding Payroll posting discrepancies
- Respond to Guild-Pension, Health, and Welfare inquiries including research, resolution, and reporting
- Identify and implement physical changes for issues relating to how payments are taxed; if the checks were not cashed and work with the business units on any checks that need to be canceled/reissued
- Distribute payroll checks according to business units' individual requirements
- In charge of records filing and storage
- Provide backup support to other team members
- Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned
- Develop appropriate solutions to problems and protectconfidential information
- Help troubleshoot issues in SAP and provide feedback or creative solution to management
- Perform effectively in an ever-changing environment
Accountabilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Studio-Talent payrolls
- Ensure compliance with contractual and labor laws
- Work and communicate well with various business units and their finance teams to meet payroll deadlines
- Provide timely support and respond to questions from other departments
- Respond to guild claims including research, resolution, and reporting
- Adherence to Comcast *** Universal policies and standards
- Provide internal support within GPS team members

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 2 years of technical experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience within payroll departments in providing support for payroll, internal/external audits, issue resolution, garnishments and research of payroll tax and wage/hour requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll experience in the entertainment industry preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with SAP payroll application and reports

- Strong interpersonal, analytical, prioritization, and communication skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Advanced PC skills (i.e., MS products - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
