Scale tier 2 rates $38.40/hr

1 day prep starting 5/13.
5 weeks principal photography starting 5/15 - 6/18 - shooting in LA 24 days

Looking for a Set Costumer for a 1 day shoot in Wappinger Springs. We'll cover mileage for driving out there and back again.
Very light work load. Have 1 actor who you'll need to do some basic shopping for then dress them on set.

You'll get 1 prep/shopping day and 1 shoot day.

Major Responsibilities:
● Under direction, carefully load and unload all exhibits, assets, and equipment from semi truck and trailers
● Position all exhibits, assets and equipment under the direction of the Race Directors and/or other Event staff
● Set up and take down the fencing and pop-up tents at each event
● Strictly follow safety guidelines to maintain safe working conditions for all team members as well as the integrity of all exhibits, assets, and equipment
● Under direction, provide set up and take down of equipment and assets along a certified marathon route

Qualifications:
● Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs
● Availability for weekend events, early mornings and late afternoons/evenings
● Punctuality and reliability
● Follows directions; eager to learn systems
● Must have own transportation (to get to and from airport/office) and Valid Drivers License
● Experience driving box trucks up to 26 ft a plus
● Preferred: experience with events, moving furniture, warehouse stocking, exhibit/trade show installations, inventory management, physical labor

OVERVIEW
Brave New Films, a non-profit media organization that focuses on social justice documentaries and video, is seeking a co-producer/production manager for a short doc project currently in production. You will manage physical production of interviews featuring name talent and supervise some of post-production.


This will be a contracted freelance position with a part-time schedule over several weeks of production.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in collaboration with Director and Producer to execute the short doc concept.
Managing all aspects of pre-production and production of the film shoots, including sourcing locations, hiring crew and equipment, interfacing with talent and reps, call sheets, and being the on-set producer.
Handling all releases, permits, paperwork.
Managing expenses, tracking budget and production accounting.
Post supervision. Coordinating between director and editorial on cuts, graphics, archival clearance, fair use, and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS
Producing and Production Manager experience on documentary, narrative, digital media and/or television.
On set experience dealing with talent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Google Suite, and management level knowledge of post workflows and systems.
Experience with doc scripting and basic editing on Premiere Pro a plus.

We're working on a documentary film about a man whose life ended while in police custody in the 1980's and the civil rights attorney that fought for justice on the case.

We are seeking an Assistant Camera Operator -or- Director of Photography that has experience with both shooting interviews (with light set-up) and verite in the field (follow-and-shoot).

This is a passion project, but will likely have a successful festival run and will be a great credit to add to your resume. This is a meaningful film intended to create conversations that spawn social/cultural awareness and change. The right candidate will have a high level of sensitivity to work with a family and community in mourning.

*Bonus if you have experience setting-up lights -or- have a light kit included in your gear list.

Three easy days (under 12 hours). We'll be working with an 86-year-old participant, so we'll only shoot for a few hours each day, at a slow pace. 3-4 Interview set-ups and two days of light verite / broll.

Looking for a Production Assistant for a Sports Collectible Ad shoot that's happening in Wappinger Falls NY. Must have a vehicle you can drive to set as you will need to do runs as needed.

We will provide mileage for your runs as well as mileage for you driving to Wappinger and home again. Just a 1 day shoot.

Seeking a hard working AP/ Booker for a new True Crime series. We need someone with experience in finding cases and making calls to book law enforcement, prosecutors, and family members. We are looking for a producer that can help with pre-production on a project that will be shooting in the second week of May. It is a 3-day shoot: 1 shoot day is in NY, 2 in CA. We're seeking a dynamic Associate Producer to join our production team. As an Associate Producer, you'll collaborate closely with the production team. Responsibilities include location scouting, assisting with story in the field. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and and comfortable with release clearance’s required for filming.

Looking for production assistants to support us for filming in Pittsburgh for 4/19 & 4/20 for a docu-follow series. Duties will include: set & crew support, loading in / out of gear, meal & supply shopping runs, appearance release signing assistance. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Looking for an On Set Dresser for a small ad shoot taking place in Wappinger Falls. This will be an under 15 person crew, you'll be the only person on the art team. You won't have any purchasing to do, it will just be rearranging things on set at the location. We'll be filming in a store and we'll just need you to hide brands and make it look presentable.

Rate is for a 12hr shoot day, only 1 day. This is NON UNION. You will be paid mileage for any runs. We won't have a crew shuttle so you'll need to get yourself to set if you don't own a vehicle.

Production assistant needed for adventure / paranormal show.

This is a show that does a lot of filming until late in the evening. Please be aware that there will be late nights!

Looking for an audio mixer to help with sit down interviews on a well established show in its 4th Season. 1 location, 1 interview.

We need someone who owns their own gear and will pay $250 per shoot day for the gear package.

Gear needed:
2 lavs (we only need 1 but would like a spare just in case)
1 boom
recorder
slate (dumb or smart, doesn’t matter)

ISO: PA local to Jacksonville, FL for a one-day shoot. You will be expected to set up an iPhone recording system (instructions and kit will be sent in advance) for a one-person interview. Being able to self-report to location is required (we will reimburse mileage). Shoot is tentatively scheduled for April 30th, but is subject to change.

Need a photographer to capture a mix of candids and posed group photos at an outdoor event from 10:30am - 1:00pm on the UAB campus. Photographer will need to work the crowd and capture a mixture of ages, ethnicities, etc. Prefer someone with event experience.

Photos need to be in RAW format, no editing needed. Full frame preferred but not required.

Flat rate for the half day of $250-$350 depending on gear and experience.

Please provide samples of work.
