Key job responsibilities
As a Associate Director, Production Support, you will...
• Help to expand the existing network of narrators, talents, studio partners, translators, sound engineers, sound designers, script editors, producers and directors in India. Curate and update database regularly
• Work with IN Content acquisition team for both Audible *** and Original Publishing during ideation phase of audio projects, to assist aligning on production and programming requirements

*** World News is looking for an Associate Sales Director to join and support our ambitious, growing global digital news offering by driving forward the APAC commercial proposition. You will be responsible for delivering profitable sales revenues from multi-region territories for *** World News, developing strategies and partnerships to grow existing markets, develop new markets, revenue streams, and channels to create further opportunities for VWN. You will have recent experience working for a publisher building marketing solutions for clients within the financial services, FMCG, entertainment, technology, auto, and/or travel verticals. Most importantly, you are a proven revenue driver, which means you're able to uncover the business needs of your clients, can think strategically about how to solve problems for them, and know-how decisions are made. You are the consummate team player and find enjoyment in selling collaboratively within a fluid and fast-paced environment.
Whilst the role is focused on VWN, you will also be agile enough to identify and navigate opportunities that sit within the broader VMG portfolio which includes *** .com, i-D, and Refinery29.
In the short term, you will be expected to hit the ground running, developing revenue opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and growing your exposure amongst key client stakeholders. As well as generating your own leads, you will work with our other sellers to identify and strategize client opportunities, socialize proactive programs and help get deals over the line.
But after 6 months you will be extracting and responding to high-value briefs and RFPs in collaboration with the strategy and creative teams, working closely with the Ad Operations, Planning, and Creative teams to ensure best in class scoping, planning and delivery of work and campaigns to your clients.
Qualifications
You have these:
- Strong previous *** sales experience (8-10 years), working with *** agencies and clients across digital, social, and content platforms, preferably with a news background.
- The ability to work collaboratively; leading and marshaling multi-disciplinary internal stakeholders towards the client's goal.
- Strong communication skills; demonstrating that you can sell & present to senior-level marketers in the *** space, and prove existing contacts within the market.
- Strong client network across South East Asia and Hong Kong.
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of the sales process; prospect, discovery, presentation, negotiation, service, and renewal.
- Flexibility. This is a new team that is extremely collaborative. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and do what is required to get the job done.
- An aptitude to learn in a fast-moving *** space with complex products.
- Ability to be the "voice of the customer" by working collaboratively with leadership and internal stakeholders to identify new solutions and innovations that create value for our clients and drive revenue.

This role includes reviewing, editing, providing notes, and when necessary, writing scripts for linear and social promos; development and concepting of one-off spots when they arise; branded content; reels; and development tapes. They must provide leadership, concise notes and constructive feedback to all editors on all rough and fine cuts, and help facilitate the professional growth and advancement of all editors on the team.
Beyond ensuring that all video assets are created, reviewed and delivered on time, on brief and on brand, the ACD is responsible for helping craft the best possible workflow for the Brand Marketing team. To that end, the ACD must work in tandem with the entire post, design, and *** TV programming and scheduling teams, and be an overall excellent communicator. They must also be able to create and convey creative briefs to the Brand Marketing editors.
The ACD reports to the Group Creative Director, providing cuts for the GCD's sign-off, and must be able to efficiently address and communicate any and all notes.
The ACD assists in the development of brand integrated work for the sales team, contributing to all facets of ideation, development and execution of short-form franchises.
The ACD is also a key contributor to special projects as they arise across *** *** Group and its brands, from event and biz dev ideation to high-level pitch deck ideation and creation. This includes concepting and production of reels of every kind: exec-level brand reels, sizzle reels, sales reels, and highlight reels for any and every *** *** Group brand.
