ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

Televisa *** Radio is looking for a part time board operator that has the knowledge to setup and troubleshoot mixing boards, microphones, electronic and mechanical components specific to the radio station, and computer software used for editing and broadcasting audio.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Must be technically skilled to operate console panel for airing programs, promos and commercials as scheduled and in compliance with Company and FCC broadcast guidelines.
• Monitor lights on console panel to ascertain that component are operative and that transmitter is ready to emit signal.
• Observe indicators and adjusts controls to maintain constant sound modulation and ensure that transmitted signal is sharp and clear.
• Assist with production duties, to include recording and editing of content and screening phone calls and prepare them to air if they if they meet the shows or talent's needs.
• Follow all studio policies, to include management of commercials and content for accuracy, timely communication of issues, airing and logging of EAS tests, logging discrepancies, transmitter readings and compliance with company rules, policies and procedures regarding Payola, Plugola and co *** icts of interest.
• Must be willing to work Weekends and Holidays.

YOU HAVE:

• Basic knowledge of studio equipment and computers.
• Must have excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills and be computer literate with basic social *** experience.
• High School graduate preferred and/or certificate from college or technical school.
• Minimum of one (1) year radio board operator experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach and sit for up to (8) hours.

How you'll make an impact:

Responsible for all aspects of sports play-by-play game broadcasts including quality control, auditioning audio elements prior to broadcast, playing commercials and promos during breaks, following game format, logging and recording game highlights, communicating with sports newsrooms, supervisor, engineers, and operations as needed.

What you'll do:

• Checks Audio equipment for proper functioning prior to going to air, reporting technical problems and equipment malfunctions to engineers and operations. Confirms audio feed provided is correct game broadcast scheduled. Auditions all audio elements prior to broadcast.
• Maintains knowledge of players and storylines involved in game broadcast.
• Logs highlights during game using digital audio software.
• Plays all scheduled commercial logs and promos.
• Updates score of the game. Performs other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
• At east 1 year of experience running an audio board for a sports talk show or play-by-play event
• Strong knowledge of sports
• Must be available for weekend and night shifts
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The VCO is responsible for the control and adjustment of studio cameras along with studio lighting.

YOUR DAY- DAY:

• Adjust iris, white balance, black balance, knee control, etc. assuring a quality picture for each studio camera
• Adjust pan, tilt, zoom, etc. of the robotic cameras if needed
• Fully control the robotic cameras in manual operations
• Adjust and color correct set monitors
• Knowledge of lighting board and bringing up lighting cues

JOB DESCRIPTION
**** TV is seeking a skilled Per Diem Engineering Technician to fill a variety of production and/or operational roles to support our live studio productions and prep materials for air on our station. Roles may include, technical director, audio board operator, floor direction, technical operations coordinator, master control operator, or program prep/ingest operator.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safe and proper operation of various broadcast equipment and systems.
• Ability to target and perform system checks of robotic camera systems.
• Ability to operate production switcher and audio console.
• Switch on air programming, commercials and promotional materials as directed by station log.
• Tune in and troubleshoot satellite receivers to record programs for air and spot check for quality.
• Tune in and troubleshoot microwave and IP-delivered live shots and feeds.
• Operate and monitor remote transmitter.
• Observe and maintain video and audio levels to FCC specifications.
• Observe on air monitor to ascertain problems with transmission such as loss of audio or video signals, and press buttons to access and transmit technical difficulties sign or station identification to viewing audience.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Prepare report describing problems encountered during transmission of program or station break and reason for problems. Describe problems and solutions using thorough, clear and concise language comprehensible to non-technical personnel.
• Transfer programming and commercials from server to automation system. Check timing of segments on programming. Notify supervisor of any problems during this process.
• Regularly set up, adjust, assemble, control, test and operate station equipment to meet on-air broadcast requirements.
• Maintain high degree of quality control.
• Perform FCC required compliance procedures.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry changes.

Lighting & Rigging

• Responsible for Live Entertainment technical show operations, maintenance, equipment preparation, setup, programming, rehearsals, strike throughout the daily operation
• Able to operate the show operation equipment, including but not limited to Lighting Consoles, Nodes, Network any overhead rigging equipment such as Lighting Fixtures, Truss system, cabling, Chain Hoists and Stage Decks
• Responsible for conducting inspections on Rigging Systems; setting up, programing and designing on Lighting Consoles
• Be the subject-matter-expert for knots, anchor points, chain hoists attachment pieces, bolts & clamps

Laser Effects

• Under supervision to setup and test the Laser system to meet with the show specifications
• Set-up and align the Laser angle according to the show procedure
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain the show quality standards
• Maintain daily record of the laser system, & observe the laser beam direction and determine the laser safety during show

Show Control

• Be the subject-matter-expert on programming, maintenance and fault finding of all Show Control Systems, especially Lighting and Laser System
• Responsible for installation, set-up, operation and maintenance of all show control systems and equipment
• Responsible to program and operate the video mapping server system, video projection and mapping systems

Pyro & Special Effects

• Responsible for Live Entertainment technical show operations, involving physical lifting and equipment prep, loading, setup & strike throughout the daily operation.
• Able to load & unload the pyrotechnic products and equipment according to company safety standard and local code of practice, & handle the install, discharge and live or miss-fired pyrotechnic products.
• Understand the Pyro control signal path and the network system.

Warehouse

• Handle check-in and check-out for all entertainment equipment, including equipment packing and loading
• Conduct and document all preventative maintenance on entertainment equipment and facilities
• Conduct regular inventory checks and prepare various tracking reports for Management

Candidates with more experience will be considered for higher level positions.

• Secondary school or above
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in backstage of theater or live Entertainment operations/entertainment equipment management
• Able to handle a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting, climbing, squatting, working at heights and prolonged standing

Responsibilities:

Entertainment Technician (Stage / Lighting & Rigging / Laser Effects / Show Control) supports the daily technical operation and maintenance of different shows and events at Hong Kong *** land. Each position has a specific focus within the technical team depending on experience.

Parkwide Events / Theater (Stage Technical)

• Responsible for Live Entertainment technical show operations & maintenance, equipment preparation, setup, programming, rehearsals and strike throughout the daily operation
• Able to operate, program, troubleshoot and maintain equipment for theatrical and live entertainment venues, including but not limited to Lighting, Audio, Video, Props, LED Wall, Stage Decks and Stage Effects equipment
• Construct, install and troubleshoot a new production or event during seasonal offerings or special events

Lighting & Rigging

• Responsible for Live Entertainment technical show operations, maintenance, equipment preparation, setup, programming, rehearsals, strike throughout the daily operation
• Able to operate the show operation equipment, including but not limited to Lighting Consoles, Nodes, Network any overhead rigging equipment such as Lighting Fixtures, Truss system, cabling, Chain Hoists and Stage Decks
• Responsible for conducting inspections on Rigging Systems; setting up, programing and designing on Lighting Consoles
• Be the subject-matter-expert for knots, anchor points, chain hoists attachment pieces, bolts & clamps

Laser Effects

• Under supervision to setup and test the Laser system to meet with the show specifications
• Set-up and align the Laser angle according to the show procedure
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain the show quality standards
• Maintain daily record of the laser system, & observe the laser beam direction and determine the laser safety during show

Show Control

• Be the subject-matter-expert on programming, maintenance and fault finding of all Show Control Systems, especially Lighting and Laser System
• Responsible for installation, set-up, operation and maintenance of all show control systems and equipment
• Responsible to program and operate the video mapping server system, video projection and mapping systems

Candidates with more experience will be considered for higher level positions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Secondary school or above
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in backstage of theater or live Entertainment operations/entertainment equipment management
• Able to handle a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting, climbing, squatting, working at heights and prolonged standing
• Willingness to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, guest-ser *** oriented environment
• Willingness to work on shift with occasional overnight shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree holder or equivalent work experience.
• Driving license holder (Class 1 & 2) is an advantage.
• Holder of a valid First Aid Certificate Course is an advantage/ Special Effects Operator (Stream B) is an advantage.
• Registration of Electrical Worker/Holder of Safety Training Certificate is an advantage.

Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company, including shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

The Character Generator Operator controls all graphical information on the video board, from messages, to welcome graphics, to sponsorships.

• Operate CG computer interface to play graphics during newscast
• Create sponsor elements, sales and event related messages as requested, build and playback graphic sequence based on the newscast script provided by the News Director
• Import file-based graphics, templates and fonts into the CG computer

Requirements & Skills :

• A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
• A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
• General computer knowledge and operation
• Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and projects
• Must be a very organized person able to handle many jobs and pressure
• Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
• Must work well in a team environment.
• The ability to demonstrate dependability and reliability by being punctual, working assigned and varying shifts, and completing responsibilities in a timely manner are required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Must have software/program experience
• Experience with digital playback systems a plus
