As the corporate sponsorship sales team for all *** network programs and platforms as well as *** and PBS stations, National Public *** works with companies across a variety of categories and objectives to generate support for the public broadcasting system, while delivering breakthrough results for sponsors.
The Marketing team provides strategy and support to National Public *** ’s sponsorship teams in a dynamic and demanding *** environment while executing B2B marketing strategies to build awareness, understanding and consideration of *** sponsorship in market. Led by the VP of Marketing, NPM Marketing collaborates with teams across the country to achieve ambitious revenue goals. We are a fast-paced team with vision, creative drive and collaborative spirits.
NPM is looking for a Marketing Coordinator, Events to support a full suite of integrated marketing activity, including but not limited to: event sponsorship activation (Tiny Desk Contest, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!, live podcast tapings, etc.), development of event/programming sales packages, social and product marketing, industry event activation, and overall brand management. The Marketing Coordinator is part of a collaborative team, working with NPM employees across the country to meet daily deadlines, while supporting the Marketing team’s ongoing goals and long-term projects.
This position will report to the Assistant Marketing Manager, Events, Innovation and Product.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Supportactivation of sponsored events from co-branded material development, sponsor integration ideation, on-site activation, internal stakeholder messaging, client relationship management, event performance reports, etc.
- Develop RFP responses and sales marketing materials in response to sales team requests focused on experiential opportunities.
- Work with VP of Marketing, Assistant Marketing Manager, Events, Culture & Innovation, and internal stakeholders to build new event sponsorship, and identify social *** and i *** uencer opportunities.
- Work in close collaboration with NPM Communications to support the department's trade marketing / external outreach efforts with a primary focus on targeted outreach to event prospects and sponsors.
- Support efforts to refine *** Events and programming audience profile positioning and further expand the narrative around *** events, music, series, and social product innovation and their relevance to Fortune 500 companies and other potential sponsors.
- Support the tracking of event marketing / promotional efforts and ROI through Salesforce and Pardot.
- Support the planning and execution of client entertainment and sponsored conferences.
- Conduct industry research on experiential sponsorship best practices and provide briefings, updates and intel to the team.
The ideal candidate displays a combination of analytical and creative-thinking skills, an aptitude for learning, and a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment. Specific qualifications outlined below:
EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS: - A BA or equivalent degree in Marketing, Communications, *** Management, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written & verbally), distill strategic takeaways from data, and i *** uence key stakeholders.
- Experience developing experiential activations that engage attendees and amplify brand messaging and awareness.
- Experience with creative agencies or *** planning.
- Proficiency with MRI, Google Analytics and ComScore research databases.
- Exhibit both creativity and strong analytical skills.
- Experience with Trello project management tool
REQUIRED S****S - Positive attitude and willingness to jump in when and where needed.
- Detail-oriented. Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
