Your New Role...

The Producer for Food Network develops and creates new programming, and takes on production responsibilities on projects including: late seasons of established series, ITK programming, major revisions to new inventory, 'A level' reversions of acquisitions, new content based on existing library content, amongst others. Works closely with Supervisor to ensure deadlines, budgets and deliverables are met.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Handle a prime time late season established series that continues to need production and editorial oversight. This includes working with production company and PMD on schedule, budget questions, casting, editorial screening, deliverables and working with all in house departments including talent relations, marketing, press, ad sales, scheduling and production management.

Handle 'A Level' program reversioning as assigned. Includes developing production schedule, working with Talent Relations to select and coordinate narrator/talent, working with editing department, collaborating with legal department to identify potential legal issues, supervising off-line, on-line, narration record and mix sessions.

Coordinate special projects such as internal/external presentation tapes for industry markets/events, quarterly tapes, corporate events, etc.

Facilitate program fixes (changes in narration, graphics, picture, and audio, as needed) and in-house editorial as required.

For assigned projects, manage project production schedule for contract compliance and overall project workflow. Track deliverables and communicate fulfillment of production milestones, production issues or changes, to project team members and manager.

Manage and distribute production delivery schedules, episode descriptions, and other relevant program updates using appropriate databases.

As required for assigned project, coordinate and communicate with other DCI departments. Including:

Press/IPR - Provide treatments, episode descriptions, cuts, production delivery dates and shoot locations.

Programming - Provide episode descriptions, episode and show titles, program clips for as sales reels, delivery updates, and Upfront information. Develop alternative program titles, facilitate title clearance process, provide parental ratings, and recommend viewer advisories.

Program Editing/Shared Program Services - Notification of master deliveries, production schedules, suggested edits, viewer advisories, renarration and off-line / on-line supports as needed, and assist in resolving QC issues.

Production Management - Provide timely updates on production schedules, milestone payment confirmation and other deliverables information.

Awards / Competition - Provide required information for selected award entries and/or materials (includes information such as clips, episode and segment selection, program descriptions, credits, contact info.)

International - Provide production updates for shows with international investments, inform appropriate individuals of changes or fixes to programs that may be of concern to international networks.

Marketing & Promotions - Assist in selecting and distributing tapes, scripts, and artwork for promo editing and consumer marketing campaigns.

Business Affairs / Legal - Coordination and communication with Business Affairs and Legal as needed regarding business and contractual matters.

Respond to special requests from Viewer Relations, Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, etc

Qualifications and Experience...

BS/BA from an accredited institution

5-7 years television production experience either at network, production company or equivalent.

Knowledge and experience in television production including editing and field production or proven skills.

Strong communication, administrative and organizational skills.

Very strong writing and story telling skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline environment.

Knowledge of normal office software.

Legal right to work in the U.S.

Enhance the on-set experience by engaging with production leaders/executives at key steps in the lifecycle of the production, inclusive of development, training and performance management. Providing insight on trends.
Facilitate trainings/on-boarding sessions for writers' rooms, cast/crew (200ppl) and leadership training to Head of Departments on a frequent basis.
Provide pro-active partnership to productions getting ahead of any issues that may arise such as sensitive topics. Provide continuous partnership and education by providing resources such as: RespectAbility, IllumiNative, GLAAD, Crew Helpline, EAP.
Understand the theme of the production and bring in support as needed such as intimacy coordinators, accessibility coordinators, and work closely with productions throughout the perspective scenes as needed. At *** land ® Resort, a Pruner provides day-to-day tree care for the Resort urban forest, under the direction of an Arboricultural Manager. Duties include maintaining trees and Resort aesthetics in accordance with the appropriate theme of the specific area of the property while ensuring the comfort and safety of our Guests and Cast Members.

Responsibilities:

Climbing:

Must be able to enter a tree (10 to 150feet) via safe climbing practices under WC-CTW, International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and ANSI Z133.1 guidelines, as well as safely use an aerial lift under DLR guidelines. Ability to gain proficiency and knowledge of different climbing systems is required

Pruning:

Must be able to prune young and mature trees using ISA and ANSI Z133.1 pruning standards, as well as *** Show quality standards. Must be capable of safely using hand pruners, pole pruners, hand saws, pole saws and chainsaws to complete the job.

Young Tree Care:

Planting: Must be able to plant 15-gallon, 120-foot box trees using ISA and ANSI Z133.1 standards. Shoveling, bending, pushing/pulling and lifting (25-100 lbs.) are involved.
Transplanting: Must be able to box up to a 120-foot root ball. Shoveling, strapping, bending, pushing/pulling and lifting (25-100 lbs).

Staking New Trees:

Must be proficient in staking, use of a ladder, stake pounder, and other staking tools.

Inventory Maintenance and Inspection:

Involves tree tagging, tree inspection, recording of data in field and on the Access Database Inventory Program. Must have the ability to understand Arboriculture in regards to tree health and structure defects, as well as the ability to input data into the Access computer program.

Mature Tree Care:

Cabling and Bracing: Must be familiar with hardware and ISA/ANSI Z133.1 installation guidelines.

This position reports to Project ("Show") Producer and Production Manager, while also working with other Coordinators on the project in keeping the show operating in an organized and efficient manner. Coordinators are also responsible for working with and delegating to the project Production Assistants. Each Coordinator usually works closely with their specific group of artists' Supervisor or Lead in crewing, scheduling, and managing that group's body of work. Coordinators are significant points of information on the show and need to be able to balance multiple needs, projects, and tasks at one time.

Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with your discipline supervisors and/or leads in crewing, casting and scheduling your discipline's body of work, keeping in mind the overall show schedule, client reviews, bids, and other discipline needs.
Establish a process for communicating discipline targets, assignments, and priorities to your artist crew, as well as the overall show crew. This should be daily and/or weekly.
Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within the ILM Internal Tracking Tool as well working with Production Managers to display the information in a physical form (magnet boards / conference rooms) in order to be visible to the team.
Ensure work is on schedule for each department and is meeting internal and external (client) deadlines. Check in with artists on a regular basis regarding workload, targets, needs, etc
Set up turnovers with discipline crew. Communicate turnover information to all artists assigned to asset(s) or shot(s).
Track client needs, reviews and deliveries to make sure your discipline hits their targets.
Serve as key communication liaison *** ween all parties relevant to your work. Provide updates, priorities, reschedules, and status of all shots at any given moment.
Anticipate and communicate issues to leadership team(s) to reach solutions in a timely manner.
Supervise, delegate to, and train assigned Production Assistant(s).
Act as primary point person for organizing dailies/shot reviews throughout the day on behalf of your discipline Supe/Lead. Take notes regarding feedback and decisions made and enter any required information into the Internal Tracking System/communicate to all so as to provide updates to all others impacted.
Prioritization and escalation of technical support issues.
Perform special projects as needed.
Communicates with all parties on the project, from Supervisors to Production leadership and peers, to artists.

Education / Experience

Three years work experience in production to include strong working knowledge of post production techniques and terminology.

Required Skills / Competencies

Proficiency in Macs/PCs including Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of UNIX and familiarity with Google Suite is preferred.
Must possess very strong organizational and communication skills and be able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner while meeting deadlines.
Attention to detail, follow through and strong communication skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

Manage heavy phones, calendars, and contact management
Manage individual and team expenses and coordinate travelwith our internal travel consultants
Meticulously track the status of talent and production for all projects
Responsible for general office management (ordering & restocking supplies, conference room bookings & logistics, knowledge of company policies & procedures, etc.)
Liase with internal departments and *** as well as external studio partners and agencies/management companies
Oversee the hiring and day-to-day supervision of our Academic Year Interns
Support talent efforts for the *** U Entertainment Group

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of industry experience
Professional phone etiquette, top-tier organization, multitasking, and communication skills
Working knowledge of SharePoint/OneDrive, Keynote, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Experience supporting high-level executives
Willing and able to attend casting and talent related events after hours and/or on weekends

Desired Characteristics

Prior talent experience with a casting office, network, studio, production, or talent booking company preferred
Experience in scripted television and digital content, ideally from a talent or development standpoint
Experience with casting software such as Cast It, Breakdown Express, and Eco Cast
