Job Summary:

• Coordinate with end-user and design team throughout the procurement and construction periods and control, manage, supervise, administer the contractors and suppliers and ensure delivery of specified quality and within timeframes according to the contracts.
• Monitor and report progress of projects and identify program and quality divergence and recommend re *** l actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance team and end-user for hand-over of the project and follow up on the punch list at completion stage
• Assist to develop and review construction plan including phasing and conquencing, logistics, safety plan, quality control and delivery.
• Assist to develop, monitor and review Construction Scheduling in line with the Master construction plans and ensure updating is undertaken during the procurement and construction periods and ensure the assigned projects are completed with specified quality and time frame by effective scheduling and cost controls.
• Assist to develop and review the project management plan to plan, implement, monitor and review the project development in line with the project objectives.
• Assist to develop, prepare, administer and review the procurement approach and tender document at pre and post contract stage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree holder in building study / building surveying/ construction management/ engineering or architecture or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in project and construction management role on large scale commercial/ retail/ hotel projects
• Proven leadership and excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of organization and able to lead projects independently is required
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills required, able to balance the competing requirements of a wide variety of stakeholders and yet meeting delivery timeline and budget.
• Able to make decision independently as well as familiar with local statutory requirements, building codes and submission procedures
• Fluent in both English and Chinese.

About the Role & Team

A new opportunity to join our growing Cruise team in Wismar, the Project Manager will be the principal coordinator for the *** Newbuild team, seamlessly merging *** Cruise Line Operations, *** Imagineering projects, and shipyard teams to ensure successful project completion.
This role entails offering strategic and essential support in analysis, decision-making, and communication to steer and synchronise project scope and execution for *** across the entire project lifecycle.

This will encompass initial program development and boxology, progressing through design development, and extending into construction, implementation, total operational readiness, and finalisation.

The role is located onsite at our shipyard in Wismar, Germany and is a fixed-term contract until end of December 2025.

What You Will Do

• Initiate and manage the entire ship program throughout the lifecycle of the project from high level space boxology to detailed operational requirements, culminating in the production of a final program book for Operations, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Travel Services, HR, and Digital and Technology teams' reference. The program book includes functional and creative design and operational details of all public, crew and stateroom spaces as well as typical 'day in the life onboard' scenarios.
• Ensures the program requirements are implemented into the General Arrangement planning and design development of each project, acting as the key liaison *** ween *** partners during each stage of the design process.
• Provide project and design managers with detailed analysis, practical evaluations of the design, and effective facilitation of decisions from operations teams as well as resolution management.
• Facilitate industrial engineering analysis and processes tool development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Responsible for managing project objectives and that the approved scope of work, including scope changes, remain within the established financial parameters and deviations are appropriately communicated and approved. Review and confirm data accuracy of the integrated project and venue completion tracking tool, working with project management on venue tracking for various states of construction and outfitting.
• Responsible for coordinating operational readiness efforts. Responsible for providing planning and communication support for the following pre-launch activities; OFE loading, vessel commissioning team set up, crew training and costuming, logistics arrangements for crew and business traveller embarkation, and operational completion of crew and guest spaces.
• Coordinates the repositioning strategy and develops the detailed repositioning plan on behalf of operations. Identify, manage and communicate pre-repositioning space allocation needs onboard for room utilisation, storage planning, and broadcast support.
• Coordinate the logistical planning of shipyard and inaugural events (e.g. steel cutting, *** cruise, cast preview sailings, etc.).
• Lead project reviews and manage documentation to be shared with Senior Executives

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Extensive Project management experience in Construction planning essential
• Cruise industry experience an advantage but not essential
• Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills for working in a complex, international, matrixed environment with Stakeholders of all levels
• Leadership experience in managing large projects.
• Must be able to travel as required, ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Highly motivated self-starter able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated problem solving and continuous improvement process skills.
• Proven ability to initiate, organise, prioritise, take, and provide direction, and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written. German language skills are beneficial.

What You Will Do
A Project Coordinator who synchronizes the project delivery process.
Using the most effective communication and technical tools available, the Project Coordinator seeks to seamlessly coordinate the delivery of highly themed entertainment spaces, in a style which tirelessly strives to eliminate inefficiency and error from the delivery process.

The candidate should be knowledgeable in all aspects of project delivery processes. The greatest responsibility of this position is to assure information is effectively shared across all subject areas and collaborators. The Project Coordinator is the catalyst that brings different subject areas together to tackle challenges and get results. This position focuses team members on the coordinated goals of the project and drives integration of design among all WDI subject areas. The Project Coordinator leads efforts to integrate work across all WDI disciplines and ensures a streamlined process workflow through all project phases from Blue Sky/Concept Development through Design, Implementation, Installation and Close-out.

The Project Coordinator provides clear communication regarding deliverables and action items. This position manages scopes and tracks Owner Furnished items, guides production efforts, and orchestrates installation. The Project Coordinator consistently maintains a broad perspective across all subject areas in order to ensure all aspects of work are covered and no efforts are duplicated. The Show Design and Production Coordinator is the center of communication and connection for a project team.

The Project Coordinator's duties include, but are not limited to (independently or with a Project or Discipline Mentor):

• Arranging, monitoring, and facilitating meetings and other communications and providing updates and meeting notes as vital to ensure accurate integration and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collecting issues and setting agenda, making sure agenda items are covered
• Tracking and following up on action items
• Creating and assisting subject areas in the creation of presentations on project status
• Capturing design input and distributing communication
• Facilitate relationships through interpersonal communication
• Coordinating and integrating project information with internal and external organizations including project team, creative and design *** , operations, vendors and contractors, and shipyard
• With Project Lead, ensures integration of personnel, schedules, and disciplines for the Project
• Liaison for domestic and/or international business trips including any special arrangements, work sessions, logistics, etc.
• Leading all aspects of the on-site arrival of materials needed to construct, produce, install, and commission themed venues and attractions
• Center of communication and collaboration for the Project Team.
• Communicate with all levels of management within the project environment, with project partners, consultants, and vendors through conversation, presentation, and clear written correspondence
• Communicate with Studio Leaders and discipline leads across all divisions relative to status updates

Required Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2+ years' related experience - leadership experience, film/theatre, production, engineering, construction, project controls, or other *** /Themed Entertainment projects (Internships will be considered)
• Fluency in written and spoken English language
• Demonstrated leadership experience required
• Highly organized self-starter with previous leadership experience
• Ability to coordinate project development process and documentation including shop drawings, document control, and punch lists
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work collaboratively with people across all levels
• Ability to encourage collaboration within the project team
• Comfort working on a construction site under pressure
• Ability to think creatively and implement innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical and architectural drawings
• Experience with electronic drawing review software (e.g., Bluebeam Revu)
• Experience using AirTable, Smartsheet, or other online database programs
• Experience in the themed or live entertainment industry
• Fluency in written and spoken German language
• Cruise industry Project Coordination experience
• Previous project coordination experience
• Willingness to relocate to Wismar, Germany for the duration of the project

Education

• Strongly prefer a four-year undergraduate degree in Theatre, Business, Engineering, Environmental Design, or other Entertainment or Development-related field.
