Job Description About Your Role:Dotdash *** seeks a Senior Product Manager who will help us grow audiences for our world-class content. You'll focus on initiatives within our Content Distribution team to expand the platforms on which our brands and content is found, and improve how audiences engage with this content off-site. You'll report directly to a *** President of Product.
The Senior Product Manager will lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation for integrations with many partners, developing best practices and multi-platform requirements, and managing a high-quality user experience wherever audiences encounter our content. Our ideal candidate has experience in news and *** and a familiarity with a wide range of technologies and concepts related to digital publishing.
The person in this role will balance the needs of partners, users, and the business, identifying product opportunities, functional requirements, and dening a long-term vision to optimize how we reach new audiences and the technologies necessary to ensure the best content experiences across touchpoints.
About Your Contributions:- Product Vision: Work with technical leaders and stakeholders to build a roadmap for the features and capabilities of our content distribution operation. Examples might include: cross-partner management of requirements and best practices, market and industry analysis of new content syndication technologies, internal gap-analysis against a 'create once, publish everywhere' ethos to enable the maximum portability of our content.
- Planning and Alignment: Work with product and technical owners across the organization to define a cohesive, living roadmap for the features and capabilities of the content distribution platform. Identify the feedback loops and cross-team dependencies required to bring innovations to market.
- Driving Results : Ruthlessly prioritize and drive initiatives across multiple business and stakeholder requests, acting as the product subject matter expert from a functional perspective, showcasing, championing, and finding ways to constantly innovate and deliver maximum value to users, partners, and the business.
- Technical Grasp : Understand internal and vendor APIs, their usage, and their impact on how users experience our content.
- Product Development : Work with cross-functional, agile teams to develop, launch, optimize, and maintain/retire features in a fast-paced environment; make the call on desired product functionality and make real-time decisions to ensure that we are on track to meet business goals.

- You possess an innate desire to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to inform your decision-making.
- You are familiar with the varied ways people discover and consume digital content and data, and apply that knowledge to building new platform capabilities.
- 5+ years of hands-on product management-day-to-day product ownership and ideation. Previous experience working in digital publishing preferred.
- You're excellent at communicating and collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders to build great products.
- You should be fluent in technical concepts and jargon such that you can actively participate in highly technical conversations with engineering teams - and then translate those concepts back to stakeholders.
- You're able to juggle the needs of multiple stakeholder groups and develop strategic product plans for each of them.
- You have a passion for figuring out user problems and pain points.
- You're capable of developing a big-picture product strategy for meeting user needs, selling it, and then working out the details to get the plan over the finish line.
- You're fluent in Agile principles and methodology.

Pay Range Salary: $112,875 - $161,250
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash *** 's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
