Your Role Accountabilities...

You will be supporting on all ongoing legal and commercial aspects of on-air and digital AdSales activities and marketing of *** IC, including TV sales, sponsorship, digital sales and barter deals.
Drafting and negotiating news content sales and syndication of factual programmes.

Qualifications and Experience

Demonstrated post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house
Qualified UK solicitor or equivalent in non- UK jurisdiction
A background in commercial legal advice, particularly in an advertising sales, technology or digital services
Ability to work collaboratively with people in different offices and across multiple time zones
An understanding of GDPR in the context of digital advertising, marketing and direct to consumer services.

How you'll make an impact:

The Data Privacy Analyst will provide support for privacy program administration and management , to help ensure *** 's success in complying with privacy and data protection regulatory and contractual obligations throughout the enterprise's businesses. The Data Privacy Analyst will assist the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy Counsel in performing privacy risk assessments and vendor due diligence, managing projects for the implementation of privacy requirements, and auditing vendor privacy practices for the protection of *** subscriber data and other personal information. The Data Privacy Analyst will report to the Chief Privacy Officer.

What you'll do:

Assess intake for privacy review requests and maintain workflow queue, prioritization and business communications for reviews
Manage records of processing, privacy impact assessment documentation and other regulatory record keeping requirements
Execute privacy due diligence and risk intake.
Perform privacy risk assessments for standard implementations
Act as a tactical resource for business stakeholders on privacy implementation and compliance

What you'll need:

Minimum three (3) years related experience in one or more of the following areas: Data Privacy, Risk Management, Legal. Information Technology, or Compliance

CIPP certification preferred

The VP is the key research and strategic business partner to the National Spot sales leadership team and sales department heads. The VP is critical in helping make data-driven decisions to maximize overall performance. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior *** President, MarVista Content Studio Business & Legal Affairs, will be a member of the Business & Legal Affairs leadership team and will help manage business affairs and legal activities across the development and production of key programming verticals within MarVista's growing slate of cost-effective, targeted programming. This role will be directly responsible for all aspects of development-related deal-making as well as the business affairs and legal oversight of projects from greenlight through delivery. This role will report to the Head of Business and Legal Affairs at MarVista and have a dotted line into *** Entertainment's legal team.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead negotiations with MarVista creative and production-related partners, including content owners, external production partners, agencies, talent, etc.
Structure, draft, and negotiate development and production-related agreements for films and series, including agreements with rightsholders, writers, producers, directors, and on-camera talent
Structure and lead the negotiation and contract process for one-off strategic partnerships with third parties, including rightsholders and producers as requested by the Head of Business and Legal Affairs
Manage relationships with external production legal counsel to ensure they are aligned with MarVista / *** goals and requirements
Bring a lens for "scalability" to all aspects of the job, including:
- Staffing and building an organization to address MarVista's growing content slate
- Templatizing and creating deal structures that efficiently serve volume needs
- Extending company standards and approaches to 3rd party productions
Liaise with business affairs counterparts in rights licensing to ensure content is created according to licensing parameters; build original co-productions in partnership with rights licensing colleagues

**** YOU **** NEED

Juris Doctor degree and member in good standing of the California bar
14+ years combined experience as a practicing entertainment attorney at a law firm and in-house at a network or studio, with extensive industry relationships with agents, talent, networks, and producers
Experience in structuring and drafting agreements for a variety of content types with a focus on television series and television movies
Strong management skillset with experience supervising and developing a team; ability to work well with other executives is crucial
Excellent negotiating, drafting, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills in a high-volume environment
Extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry including high-level talent agreements relating to television / new *** development and production, guild/union and non-union labor and employment law issues relating to movie and series productions; intellectual property law; risk management issues, rights of publicity/privacy issues as well as an understanding of on-set production
Understanding of tax incentives and procedures associated with claiming government tax incentives, both domestic and international, with an emphasis on Canada
Understanding of television rights licensing agreements

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expert. Develop and deploy ads policy and enforcement across a functional area (e.g., dating, alcohol, high fat, salt, sugar food and beverages). Counsel ads sales on questions that arise based on those policies.
Operational Strategist & Project Management. Proactively identify opportunities to improve how we advise, align, finalize, and enforce ads policies at *** . Support issue escalation and resolution from advertisers, ad sales, and members.
Global & Regional Player. Ability to be an advocate for the specific needs of Ads Policy bringing a global lens, striking a balance *** ween scalability, localization, and highly nuanced sensitivities and cultural perspectives to drive meaningful ads policies for *** , our members and advertisers.

Experience & Skills

Functional expertise in Content Moderation, Policy/Legal Operations, Trust & Safety
Policy experience with knowledge of the technology sector and the key policy issues affecting the internet like online and brand safety.
Experience managing and scaling a high volume of content across multiple verticals and countries and/or running multiple, simultaneous and complex policy projects from inception through to completion.
Strong communication and cross-functional skills, with the ability to engage, listen, and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align from strategy through execution and translate complex issues into simple, clear language.
Have experience collaborating closely with advertisers, legal, and sales teams.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and have a goal-oriented entrepreneurial mindset, driven to succeed and always up for a challenge!

The Global Brand Licensing Team is responsible for adding value to *** 's global brands (Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, Men's Health and Women's Health). This role will work closely with *** offices all over the world, especially the New York office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Account manage a third-party licensing agency in EMEA and APAC, being their first point of contact at *** Brand Development for business development, account management, finances and marketing.
Strategize with the Senior Global Licensing Director for business development opportunities and direction.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to support strategy, new business opportunities and product development.
Build and maintain strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders at *** O&Os and relevant *** partners.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of the local market editions of the global brands.
Collaborate with the US licensing marketing team to ensure consistency across marketing messaging, plans and activities for global licensees.
Learn and utilise various data points from the different *** brands in each key markets to maintain and grow the licensing business.
Plan, collaborate and execute marketing activities for licensed products across *** platforms. Including, but not limited to, print, digital, social and event integration, collaborating with internal teams when necessary.
Review and approve licensee and retailer marketing plans, including, but not limited to, social *** content, i *** uencer campaigns and in-store promotional activities.
Negotiate licensing contracts alongside Senior Global Licensing Director whilst taking lead on reviewing the documents with legal counsel.
Work alongside the creative team to support ongoing product development when needed, ensuring that critical path timelines as kept.
