Our Team: *** runs on data, and data drives the market. Our Data team acquires and supplies this data to our clients. Teams work collaboratively to collect, analyse, process and publish the data which is the backbone of our iconic *** Terminal - the data ultimately feeding and moving the financial markets.
In Data, you will apply your problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, implement technical solutions to improve our systems, products and processes, establish links with key players in the financial market by providing outstanding client support, and manage the financial data that feeds the *** Terminal.
The Role:We are looking for an Operations Manager to be responsible for a diverse set of operational and business responsibilities that require critical collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and majority of teams within Data Management Labs. In addition to measuring performance and business effort, the Operations Manager will work on division-wide initiatives such as marketing, organisational planning, and business planning strategy.
You'll be working at the heart of operations, you will use your outstanding combination of technical and interpersonal skills, as well as intuition for business to help solve some of Data's most complex problems. You will have responsibilities that span across Data Management Labs and have significant impact on how we function. These include but are not limited to strategic analysis of operational data, driving the evolution of our products and processes, and collaborating with senior leadership across Data and *** as a whole.
We'll Trust you to:- Collaborate with Data partners, including senior management, CFO team, sourcing, and product teams to improve reporting on operational performance and product strategy across the team
- Clearly articulate and drive the strategy across multiple areas of the firm to enhance collaboration while resource planning
- Use excellent judgment to set clear and effective priorities, while prioritizing multiple projects
- Improve departmental operational transparency through standardized reporting, statistical analysis, data collection, and data visualization
- Analyse and use business intelligence data to improve our internal operations
- Perform strategic and often ad-hoc data analysis on sophisticated and at times sensitive data sets to improve operational efficiency
- Assess risk and rewards for multiple business units and manage expectations with stakeholders
- Ability to use business acumen to achieve goals and objectives and act with integrity at all times
You'll Need to Have:- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience supporting an organization's operations as well as experience leading multiple sophisticated projects
- Proven and significant experience in leading all aspects of product development from a business level
- An ambitious attitude with an insatiable desire to solve problems in innovative way
- Strong project management and time leadership skills with the ability to take multiple projects to completion
- A keen understanding of how to lead and i *** uence decision-makers
