The Senior Manager, Global Merchandise Sourcing is responsible for leading a Sourcing within the Global Merchandise Sourcing organization. The Senior Manager, Global Merchandise Sourcing has responsibility for ensuring the development and execution of short-term (seasonal) and long-term sourcing strategies that support the creative direction while ensuring margin objectives and all other high-level business deliverables are met or exceeded. Responsibilities:

Develops, mentors and trains teams providing appropriate direction, resources and environment needed for success

- Travels domestically and internationally to evaluate the viability of worldwide market opportunities, build vendor relationships, and continuously expand product knowledge/expertise
- Drives market exploration and diversification
- Uses product knowledge to drive leveraging opportunities across the segment and/or other *** lines of businesses
- Assists in the monthly business review process; collecting, tracking, and measuring cost mitigation efforts by business site, Department, Product, etc.
- Proposes and implements solutions to achieve sourcing strategies for global site-specific items
- Manages best-in-class vendor base strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk so that vendor base shows measurable progress in all managed categories (earns the trust & respect of suppliers through facilitating win-win situations)
- Actively engaged and highly familiar with advanced features and functionality of existing sourcing technology (suggests new uses for existing technology, as well as new technologies altogether)
Drives profitability over divisional categories ensuring the proactive monitoring of mix and cause of change drivers and aggressive value engineering and negotiation efforts
- Uses product and market knowledge to oversee the achievement of product category margin goals
- Identifies opportunities to leverage cross-category tools, information, processes and resources to optimize organizational performance and support
- Mitigates cost increases with creative solutions based on supply chain leveraging, value engineering and market shifts
- Seeks, develops and drives innovative negotiation strategies that lead to significant cost and/or efficiency savings

Requirements:

10 - 12 years' experience in Global Sourcing, Product Development, or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree
Product-specific technical degree and/or manufacturing experience a plus

Your Role Accountabilities...

Establish tactical plans for systems implementation, consistent with defined objectives and strategic direction for internal clients and business deliverables. Experience should include some combination of the following:

Demonstrated experience with client-server system architecture, networks, operating systems, software, VDI and PCoIP technology.

What You Will Do

The Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, execution and analysis of multiplatform marketing campaigns that build brand equity and drive consumer engagement for *** 's scripted shows.

Reporting to the Director of Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement, this role is at the center of the day-to-day and long-term operations for brand, digital and social initiatives, interfacing with key stakeholders on high priority projects. This role is also critical to the process of ideating and securing branded promotional partnerships.

The ability to effectively understand, manage and communicate strategy, campaign components and the results of complex marketing efforts while pivoting *** ween multiple projects during constant change, is essential to the success of this position. The ideal candidate proactively creates solutions out of challenges, is comfortable being a self-starter, and will understand how to translate quantitative and qualitative data into insightful POVs, compelling brand stories and unique selling propositions.

Responsibilities:

Act as the brand leader, driving marketing efforts across *** shows, including implementing strategy, managing campaigns, and reporting on results - all with the goal of building brand equity, driving consumer engagement and monetization of scripted content
Be a central hub for information of each show, understanding the day-to-day production needs, show creative, marketing support, and overall voice of the consumer, especially in context to culture
Collaborate and ideate with key teams ( *** , social, sales, programming, publicity, production, creative, agencies) to create innovative, impactful multiplatform campaigns
Effectively communicate and present marketing plans and timelines across the organization
Provide solutions, recommend alternative strategies and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner
Work closely with the Strategy and Consumer Insights teams to develop audience targets, report on campaigns, refine process, and provide actionable insights
Act as point of contact with external agencies and partners, leading communication while building relationships, providing strategic/creative feedback and managing approvals
Maintain project tracking for multiple workstreams and deliverables to meet deadlines
Develop presentations for securing branded promotional partnerships

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
Must be willing to work in Los Angeles, CA
3+ years marketing experience (preferably in the entertainment/ *** industry) - includes experience in strategy development, campaign execution/management, social/digital platform fundamentals
Flawless visual storytelling and data visualization skills that leverage the latest tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.) to powerfully bring ideas and insights to life
Excellent critical thinking, business writing and interpersonal skills
Extraordinary attention to detail
Confident, driven, self-starter, with a dedication to excellence
Willingness to work overtime, atypical hours and on some weekends with short notice (small amount of travel involved)

Job Description

The Production Manager for the Production & Operations department provides essential support on development and series 3rd party projects of various scales across the *** U portfolio including *** , *** , USA, Oxygen, Bravo, E! and SyFy. For each project, this individual will work closely with the Production & Operations Series Leads on driving the process forward from Pre-Production and Production through Post Production and Delivery.

Responsibilities:

Communicates directly with 3rd Party Production Companies to explain expectations with regard to pre-production, production, post production and delivery.
To understand and be able to communicate Network technical delivery specifications as well as make sure the 3rd party production companies have all insurance, health & safety, and production policies in place.
Act as liaison *** ween 3rd party production companies and all internal Network departments including legal, marketing, the broadcast facility as well as health and safety.
Review and stay on top of production and post production schedules for multiple projects
Review and approve pilot and series wrap bibles, ensuring that all materials are received and accurate
Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on-time and report any issues to senior management
Observe all department and company guidelines
You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of Production Management experience required (Network experienced preferred)
1+ years of *** /Entertainment experience required
