This role is a fixed-term contract for 9 months *** ween mid-March and mid-December 2022. The role is two or three days per week, based in Sydney.

Matc *** x Pictures is looking for a Finance internto be based in the Sydney office. The Finance Intern will play a key role in supporting the existing small finance team at Matc *** x Pictures (100% Owned by *** U).

Reporting into the Finance Manager this role will work closely with the Sydney based finance team to provide assistance in a wide variety of tasks to help with the day to day running of the finance function at Matc *** x Pictures. You will need to be adaptable to a variety of systems and processes that are used with in the business.

Raising and receiving intercompany recharges.
Work through the Cost Reporting process for development projects
Support Accounts payable and Accounts receivable related tasks, including generation of invoices & receipting
Setting up of new vendors and customers via *** U support central system
Coordination of company fixed asset register and monthly depreciation charges
Supporting the quarterly Superannuation submission
Preparation of monthly & quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for review by Finance Manager.
Assisting with Bank Reconciliation (SAP & BLAC****E) - Preparing Journals, Cash Receipting & Manual payment entries
Exposure to all financial aspects of the development and production lifecycle of television projects. This includes the greenlight process, liaising with production teams and cost reporting
Other adhoc general administration and finance tasks.

The Food Network Convergent team works at the unique, exciting intersection of digital and on-air programming. No two days are alike on our team. We work closely with Food Network's video, PR and programming teams on a daily basis to make engaging, buzzy and on-brand flat and video content on tight timelines and strict deadlines. Responsibilities

It's an incredibly exciting time to be working in content and merchandising for direct-to-consumer. Our intern will be working on daily publishing and merchandising of original and acquisition content to our DTC platform, including collaborating with partners in other departments to ensure all necessary elements are available and high quality (such as art, keywords, and descriptions). They'll also assist in the evolution and maintenance of our internal department documents and trackers, which help us communicate our programming strategies across teams. The editorial team has the opportunity to dip our toes into so many other types of work. We are constantly in communication with members of other teams including the social team to work on content promotion and the video team to determine which pieces of content would benefit from a more visual component. But the best part of working in this department is how versatile the work is every day. The intern will gain hands-on experience with testing products, as well as writing for the site.

Responsibilities

During this internship, our intern will gain experience in every part of the content cycle from the brainstorming to actually finishing a project. They will help the team come up with new content ideas, write articles, build them in the CMS and see them promoted and published live on the site with their byline. The Intern will work on projects that they can take real ownership over and leave the semester with their name on articles and projects they've worked on. By the end of the internship, they will leave with a great collection of stories published to the site that they can take real pride in.

We work on a range of unscripted and documentary style shows that range from 5 minutes to 60 minutes. We are excited for an intern to join the team and learn the ins and outs of production from the network's perspective. From this internship, it is our hope that our intern will receive a full understanding of the development, pre-production, production, and post production process.

Responsibilities

Our intern will assist the Production Executives with their creative needs. Interns will learn how to build pitch decks, write loglines and show descriptions, organize and track internal and external ideas in all phases of development, edit casting tapes, and also present series ideas for their intern project. It is our goal to give the intern a hands-on experience so they can learn what it's truly like to work in production.

We keep a pulse on current trending crime and paranormal news and help bring about overall brand awareness by creating viral videos in the ID and TRVL voice.

Responsibilities

The ID TRVL Digital and Social *** team is looking for an intern who will assist with researching and producing trending true crime or paranormal news videos along with companion videos for discovery+ priority shows to be posted to our social *** platforms. Our intern will also be responsible for helping our team stay current in digital *** trends and monitor competitors' content for new social strategies. By the end of this hands-on internship, an ID TRVL Digital and Social *** intern will walk away with a portfolio of social-native videos they helped produce as well as a broader understanding of social *** content strategy.
