How you'll make an impact:
As a Staff Product Manager for Connected TV (we are also considering Senior Product Manager level), you have an exciting opportunity to evolve the Pandora and *** experiences on the connected TVs and SMPs that our consumers enjoy. You'll partner with TV and SMP services such as *** Fire TV, Roku and Google TV to grow the TV ecosystem for Pandora and Sirius XM. You'll work closely with de *** manufacturers and other innovators to identify the right technologies to invest in to enable a best-in-class in-home experience. You'll leverage your learnings in the connected TV space to identify the right consumer technologies to partner with, and collaborate with partner teams to create compelling listener experiences. Listener behavior is evolving and this role is central to driving adoption in an exciting growth area.
What you'll do:
- Establish and communicate a product vision and roadmap that inspires and focuses creativity and investment in the connected TV space
- Use analytics and insights, industry expertise, and personal experience to drive Pandora and *** 's connected TV strategy
- Drive a cross-functional team comprised of business development, engineering, design, marketing, data science and user support
- Earn the trust of key partners across the company by understanding their perspectives and providing a compelling rationale for product decisions
- Identify and proactively take on initiatives in a growing and rapidly changing environment
- Formulate and articulate detailed requirements for product concepts that appeal to millions of users, each of whom have unique musical tastes
What you'll need:
- 8+ years of product management experience, including experience in connected TV products, successfully launching new products and features customers love
- Experience interfacing with TV or streaming *** leaders preferred
- An innovation mindset with the ability to assess the value of candidate product concepts
- Experience managing consumer electronics partners and de *** manufacturers
- Demonstrated ability to present to executives at all levels and lead through i *** uence across teams
- Experience in agile product development - requirements gathering, story writing, agile development methodologies
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Proven ability to use data to evaluate success, provide insights, and drive action; understanding of multivariate experimentation
- Strong collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for music
- MBA and/or MS degree in HCI, Computer Science, Product Design, or related technical field preferred
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At *** , we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $140,300 to $231,250 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
