We are looking for an editor that would be able to edit 8 minute YouTube videos weekly.

We are looking for an experienced Youtube editor to take on projects at a per project basis freelance for a popular channel.

Preference is you live in the Austin, Tx area. However we are open to other cities and states. Must be US based.

Videos are competition based shot with multi cams including vlog cams. Typically remain on one set.

Essentially we are looking for a finishing Editor. Someone who can bring an hr cut down to 20 to 30 mins, Making audio adjustments throughout, do basic color adjustments. In addition we would would be looking for some basic text effects and adding in things like timers, transitions etc.

In addition, we would be looking for proper placement of basic effects provided in a template project file containing text animations, timers, transitions, etc. as well as occasional meme edits

We have normal effects (that you're not building from scratch) in our template, but we do require the occasional meme/funny edits that are specific to the video

Having experience with YouTube editing is ideal as you will understand pacing and current trends within the YouTube post world.

Ideally this person will be avail Monday through friday normal business hours 9am to 7pm. But would be lovely if editor is open to occasional weekend work as well.

We will pay a day or weekly flat rate. Rate is competitive.

Start date will vary. We want to find this freelancer soon but willing to wait for the right person. Jobs can vary as every week to every 2 weeks depending on the month. But could become very consistent work.

We are looking for editors who have documentary experience who can also edit emotional and impactful 30 second "stories" from interviews with real people. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with many hours of footage but can also edit with the speed of an editor with promo experience. Skills in after effects will also be extremely helpful.

Looking for a highly talented editor with compositing experience to edit a 3 min short which will be shot in early May.

The film is about loneliness, nature, and basketball.

Must be collaborative + flexible + creative as this project is somewhat surreal. Must also have a strong understanding of visual storytelling.

Hiring a qualified editor for a three episode docuseries, currently shooting S1. It's a talking head show, with three to four segments covering a b-story shoot in the field.

Successful candidates will have relevant credits on Discovery, Nat Geo, History, etc. Special attention will be paid to those who have credits covering paranormal/UFO topics, i.e. Encounters, Unsolved Mysteries, Skinwalker Ranch, Ancient Aliens (or anything Prometheus), Unidentified, etc.

11 weeks to edit and deliver three hour-long episodes, you will work directly with two EPs.

Looking for an editor with experience in motion graphics to edit digital videos for a number of nonprofit clients and small businesses on topics that range from empowering girls to affordable housing to financial education. Motion Graphics needs range from kinetic typography and explainer-style graphics to manipulating illustrated elements. Most projects are working with documentary-style footage and need audio mix, color corrections, etc in house.

Hourly pay based on client budget and experience needed. Job will be part time over 5 months. Open to flat rate negotiation for projects.

Looking for an editor to polish a short film (about 25 minutes long) that is already at a solid rough cut, and needs an experienced narrative editor to fine-tune it into it's final form.

The film tells the story of an estranged father and son reuniting in a diner in the middle of the night after the father abandoned the family 20 years ago, and is made up of four scenes: 1) A tense standoff where the son waits for the father outside the diner, the father arrives, and we are unsure of their relationship or the nature of their meeting; 2) the meeting itself, which is essentially one long conversation where the father tries to explain to the son why he had to disappear long ago; 3) a farewell scene where they go their separate ways, back outside of the diner; and 4) a final reckoning for the young man, where he must decide whether to forgive his father or hold onto his resentment for the rest of his life.

All interest candidates should send along samples of work (ideally a full film or at least full scenes, rather than a reel), as well as any questions or concerns they have about the project and collaboration.

Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Attention to detail, clear communication and being mindful of deadlines are a must. Strong candidates will be comfortable balancing a variety of projects and deadlines while working with different producers.

Responsibilities:
- Edit original features using Adobe Premiere, for audiences across our daily live distribution onsite and off, YouTube, and major social platforms.
- Help conceptualize, manage and execute visually dynamic, original edits in a deadline-driven environment.
- Stay up-to-date on the workings of company systems including proprietary infrastructures, working with the post support team to source and acquire assets as necessary for projects.
- Communicate in an appropriate and timely manner to relay issues and concerns about individual edits, technical issues and deadlines.
- Regularly update media and project tracking documents as necessary.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues with the IT team and post management.
- Develop and grow audience engagement across major platforms and help editorial leads establish and maintain OKR goals
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience editing narrative features for onsite and OTT.
- An exceptional storyteller with a proven track record of editing high-quality, original field production with the audience and platform in mind.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere.
- Must be experienced working with graphic templates and MGRTS within premiere. AfterEffects experience preferred.
- Comfortable sourcing pictures, video, soundbite from subscriptions services, including AP, Reuters, Getty, etc.
- Editor must thrive under deadline pressure and be able to juggle multiple tasks and assignments.

Our award-winning Palomar Films studio is currently looking for a video editor to join our team. Our department is a PBS style facility based at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. We produce documentaries, instructional videos, and promotional content in our recently upgraded 4K television studio. We have won 37 Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards and dozens of other national accolades for the compelling content we create.

Working hours are mostly Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm. We have flexibility with scheduling so you can still work on other projects when needed. Interlochen Center for the Arts seeks a dynamic film editor for the Film and New Media division who is eager to contribute to a vibrant program dedicated to the overall development of young visual storytellers as editor and educator. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of visual storytelling and its diverse history, drawn from professional experience as an editor/filmmaker and the pursuit of higher education and professional experience. The Film and New Media Division at Interlochen Center for the Arts consists of two tracks - Live Action Film, and Animation. This position will work primarily with the Live Action Film track, with some courses for film majors, and available to animators and non-majors as electives.This is a one (calendar) year, full time appointment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as an/instructor and editor of a feature documentary project (in coordination with Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Greenacres Foundation) to create a documentary that will show how the results of scientific research and close observations of nature make new efforts in sustainability, regenerative agriculture and preservation, a clear and emotionally accessible story.

Oversee the post-production details of the documentary, and coordinate necessary organizational aspects of planning the workflow of assets and the timely completion of cuts.

Review and organize raw footage, implementing creative and narrative-driven editing techniques and integrating audio elements to enhance the story telling.

Gather regular feedback to ensure all stages/deadlines of post-production are met.

Teach a Post-Production/Editing course developed in conjunction with the Director of Film and New Media.

Participate in 1:1 advisorship meetings with film students.

Teach additional courses related to film/visual storytelling, film editing, post-production workflow, directing actors, critical studies & script analysis

Participate as one of the faculty members of the Production Workshop, a class in which the entire community of film students enroll, in all stages of development of screenplays/productions/thesis/portfolio.

Experience and expertise with editing software, computer and storage technology, professional video formats (RED, Blackmagic, ARRI etc) and their interface with edit systems and their migration between field technology and edit suite
