Your New Role:
The Graphics Operator is responsible for helping WBD productions achieve excellent technical, creative, and visual results because of the prep, transfer, and playback of on-screen and studio graphics during live game and/or studio broadcast productions. They are proficient with the operation of character generated hardware/software tools used during live game and studio broadcast productions. The Graphics Operator is also responsible for maintaining a high level of skill and knowledge regarding a wide variety of hardware/software tools used in the Graphics department. Your Role Accountabilities:

LIVE/TAPED PRODUCTIONS

Partner with Technical Operations and Production Assistant to set up graphics machines for the specific needs of the live game and/or studio broadcast production.
Build graphics packages for WBD Broadcast Production clients using elements created by our Graphics Design team to construct graphics templates which will be used by all graphics operators on the live game and/or studio broadcast productions.
Partner with the Client's Production Assistant to prepare graphics needed for specific live productions in advance.
Operate graphics' machines with efficiency and accuracy to recall all needed graphical elements created during prep sessions and/or live game/studio broadcast productions.
Able to manipulate graphics and create new graphics on the fly during live game and/or studio broadcast productions as needed or requested by the WBD Broadcast Production client.
Must be able to handle the pressures of live programming and limited time constraints

COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION

Work closely with Technical Operations and Production (BEST) Engineering to identify, troubleshoot and solve technical problems in graphics workflow for Live Location and Production Control Room broadcast. Making sure each problem is resolved to completion.
Collaborates with Production (BEST) Engineering, Technical Operations and Production Management to identify and special order any equipment needed for live game and/or studio broadcast productions.

PLANNING RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates documentation on graphics builds and graphics machine set ups for each broadcast production
Proactively develops new skills related to the current graphics systems at Techwood *** as well as ancillary applications such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Visual Studio, etc. Applies new skills and knowledge to current projects and processes, pushing the capabilities of the existing technology.

Qualifications & Experiences:

Minimum of 3 years of network level broadcast production experience operating as a Graphics Operator for live game, live remote and/or live studio productions
Knowledge of industry standard graphics software (ROSS Xpression, Chyron, VizRT, Adobe Creative Suite)
Able to read/follow documentation explaining workflows for specific graphics equipment and productions
Good computer skills, such as MS Office
Able to work flexible, non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays

As the Freelance Graphics Coordinator, you will exist as a liaison *** ween various production arms within the FSMG and the graphics department. The line management for the position is from the Freelance Graphics Coordinator to the Director, Production and RSN Integration, to the Senior *** President, Graphic Production, to Executive *** President/Creative Director, Graphics.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive, research, and process all requests for graphic creation from assigned production and follow through to completion and delivery
Establish communication with Coordinating Producer to ensure proper scheduling and tracking of projects
Deal with day-to-day operations of all production in progress through producers
Compile and maintain all compilation reels for assigned production along with seasonal updates
Attend all project related meetings, take notes and distribute
Follow-up with logs, style guides, and tool kits
Schedule and supervise edit and audio sessions as needed

**** *** Las Vegas is looking for a Marketing & Promotions Producer to create, plan and execute local marketing/branding/promotional/sales initiatives & campaigns. The ideal candidate will directly work with and report to the Marketing and Promotions Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

Create, produce, edit and execute exceptional marketing/branding/promotional campaigns that will serve as the foundation in the overall image of the station, from concept to broadcast.
Operating of all portable video (field cameras) and audio equipment.
Transports and sets up all required lighting and audio equipment including lavalieres, wireless receivers, handheld and shotgun microphones
Assist with costumes, props, music, or other additional equipment or personnel needed to complete the production.
In post-production selects footage, rough cuts, audio adjustment, edits, add graphics, voice over, music bed and include sound effects to create the final product utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro editing software, along with other Adobe software (After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, etc.)
Responsible for the quality of each commercial/promotional spot produced. Quality control can involve several duties, such as verifying accurate information and placing legal disclaimers into advertisement spots if required. Producer must also verify that commercials meet certain legal and broadcasting standards
Work directly with the Marketing Manager, News Director, News Producers and Reporters to obtain information and video for production of promotional promos to push viewers to Noticiero *** Las Vegas newscasts
Create, produce and execute, result-driven, promotional tactics and campaigns specifically tailored to grow audience share. These tactics include contests, sweepstakes, grassroots campaigns, internal synergies, product placement and pure promotional "one-off" partnerships
Create, produce, execute, and attend local marketing events. Weeknights and weekends are required on occasion
Assist local and national sales team meetings to develop and strengthen sponsorship opportunities (NTR) and strategic sales initiatives. Includes pre-production and planning meeting with account sales executives and clients; script writing, professional voice over and selection of music bed
Work closely with marketing manager, research director, and sales managers to create exceptional marketing strategies that are in-line with station initiatives.
Develop and distribute key creative collateral and material for "out-of-home" branding and marketing campaigns
Perform some maintenance on production vehicle such as checking oil, tire pressure, etc.
Assist Marketing Manager on special projects and/or assignments as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Production, Marketing, Film, or similar field
2 years' experience with station and/or agency marketing
2 years' experience with consumer marketing
Ability to work with audio and video equipment
Strong understanding of US Hispanic and/or Multicultural/Ethnic consumers
Must write creative scripts that communicates station/clients' message(s) effectively
-Exceptional skills with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, etc. Microsoft Office, Power Point, Nonlinear editing

JOB DESCRIPTION
**** *** 7 the *** O&O in Austin, TX, has an opening for a Newscast Director. The ideal candidate has experience using both manual and automated professional broadcast software/switchers to direct live newscasts, original programs, specials, wall-to-wall breaking news, severe weather coverage and other programing for both linear and digital platforms. The newscast director must also have demonstrated experience coding newscasts, including cameras, graphics and audio. The director will prepare show rundowns, coordinating all live shots and cues.

Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for innovation, daring to be different each day. You'll work closely with producers, on air talent, and production staff to break through the clutter of local news and stand out to our audience on all platforms, current and emerging. The director will lead camera crews, audio operator, and floor director, as needed. A minimum of two years' experience directing and/or technical directing on-air for live news programing required. The ability to operate a broad range of production equipment, including character generators, audio consoles and master control equipment is desired. Lighting design experience is also a plus. Must be a visual thinker who is proactive, creative, takes initiative, reacts quickly, projects a positive attitude, and keeps their composure during stressful situations. College degree preferred.
