As a Hair Stylist at Painted Sky, you will be responsible for providing professional hair and makeup services for Guests 3-17 years of age while delivering exceptional Guest Ser *** at Laniwai - A *** Spa.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent professional hair and makeup services in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
• Must possess a technical understanding of product ingredients to avoid allergic reactions
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to be cost effective
• Possess complete knowledge of all services for guests ages 3-17 and products while educating Guests
• Must have the ability to create an image for the guest's needs/social event using different makeup colors and application techniques
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and Laniwai Spa & Painted Sky policies and procedures
• Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
• Actively promote spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs and promotions
• Handle Guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Provide accurate and im *** te responses to all requests by Guests ensuring complete Guest satisfaction
• Attend mandatory training to maintain knowledge of current spa policies, procedures and trends
• Must be able to perform all hair/makeup services offered by Painted Sky

Basic Qualifications:

• Skills and Experience: Ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations independently, while confidently utilizing ser *** recovery methods
• Job-Related Education, Licenses and Certifications (or equivalent experience) if any: Must currently hold and maintain state Hair Stylist license (with state of Hawaii); Entry level encouraged
• *** Behaviors Excellent communication and listening skills; Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality; Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent guest ser *** skills; Flexible/adaptable (may work in a variety of areas, conditions and/or have changing shift start/end times); Maintains clean and polished appearance; Committed to safety

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

This role is Part-Time and requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of THREE (3) days per week - Saturday or Sunday required. For training purposes, extended availability for up to two (2) weeks may be required im *** tely following the start date.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare wigs styled to an approved corporate design for performers of shows and parades
• Restyle, maintain, make alternations and adjustments to wigs according to the daily schedule for all shows, parades, special events and Character Meet & Greet
• Work closely with a variety of performers in the application of wigs and makeup during show rehearsals and preparation, and show changes
• Ensure safety compliance with equipment application guidelines and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• Diploma in hairstyling or at least 3 years of relevant experience in all aspects of hairdressing/styling
• Able to wash and set wigs and recreate a style from a photo in a clear and defined manner
• Hands on knowledge in appropriate use of styling tools
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Hair Stylist at *** 's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you will be responsible for providing Guests with professional hair and makeup services at Tenaya Stone Spa. This includes, consultations in the art of makeup application and professional cuts, styles and therapeutic treatments for hair.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent professional hair and makeup services in accordance with Tenaya Stone Spa protocols and accepted certification practices
• Ability to effectively perform all spa treatments and services as defined by the position being performed
• Broad understanding of color symmetry/coordination and understand the use and effects of different textures (frost, shimmer, etc.)
• Must have the ability to create an image for the guest's needs/social event using different makeup colors, textures and application techniques
• Must possess a technical understanding of product ingredients to avoid allergic reactions
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to be cost effective
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and Tenaya Stone Spa policies and procedures
• Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
• Actively promote spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs and promotions
