Decision SciencesThis intern will assist handling the inputs and outputs of our operational algorithms, assist in running the algorithms, makes inferences about the data and research new methodologies of enhancing the inhouse processes using operations research and advanced analytics techniques.
Engineering (Post Production & Digital Workflow)The Post Production and Digital Workflow team provides the systems and support for multiple areas of *** Sports Group Production and Operations for both in-house and on-the-road events, including *** , Notre Dame Football, NASCAR and the Olympic Games. Our systems perform multiple functions, including: live recording of competition feeds, video editing for live coverage and feature production, transfer of footage and finished shows to and from production trucks at competition venues, and storage and retrieval of footage in the *** Sports archives.
Product & Technology In our Product Management department, we are responsible for identifying market needs and transitioning those needs into software products and solutions in youth and recreational sports. As an intern with the Product Management team, you will get exposure to the inner workings of a modern software company and how work gets from an idea to a live experience in the hands of customers.
Technology Engineering - GolfNowThe Marketing and Booking Engine team supplies customer facing software to our Golf business clients, including a customer relationship management and e-mail application, white-label booking engine websites to sell tee times and memberships to golf course customers, and reservation center software to allow *** Sports Next agents to take reservations for courses over the phone.
Quality Assurance Engineering The GolfNow Quality team is responsible for the quality of several front-end web sites and mobile applications, as well as the backend API's, services, and tasks that power our products. We cover the testing for public facing products such as Golfnow.com, Teeoff.com, Golfpass.com, their international sites and CMS admins, mobile applications, and OTT applications.
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by *** Universal.
• If selected for a virtual internship, must be working from a location within the United States during all hours worked.
• For Decision Sciences: In pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, and/or Data Science.
• For Technology Engineering: Knowledge of MERN Stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, Kubernetes / Docker a plus. Kubernetes / Docker a plus.
• For Post Production & Digital Workflow: Operating System familiarity: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu). Programming/Scripting - One or more of: Python, HTML/CSS, Javascript, SQL
• For Quality Assurance Engineering: SQL knowledge is a plus. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
