The team is tasked with producing events that support *** land Resort inclusive of our Resort Hotels and Downtown *** , as well as Aulani, A *** Resort & Spa.

A Day in the Life...
This *** Intern will be part of a team that plans, develops, and produces complex and high-profile physical and virtual events in support of the DPEP segment. The individual's success will lie in their ability to leverage strategic thinking and project management capabilities. Through close collaboration with internal and external partners, they will be part of a team that develops events that drive superior results that align with business goals, objectives, and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of the conceptualization of events, programs, and business driving projects
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners to help develop and execute a varied level of events
- Provide on-the-ground support throughout the event development process including event execution
- Build relationships with partners across the company that represent a vast array of disciplines
- Contribute to the success of the team by assisting in developing, updating and organizing key project/event planning documents such as agendas, milestones, itineraries, tracking grids, presentations and more
- Participate in brainstorming new ways to use digital planning tools to drive overall team efficiency

- You have strong proficiency and skill in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and ability to learn new and existing software programs & applications
- You have experience with web-based event-management software, or ability to learn new software programs used as part of event development, planning, and execution
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are flexible, as schedules could occasionally include nights or weekends
- You have the ability to meet physical demands for extended periods of time
It would be nice if you also had...
- You have passion about the *** brand and culture
- You have knowledge and experience working within the events space
- You have experience working with design software (i.e., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) in a team environment
- You have knowledge of basic HTML/CSS, or experience with email/website-building software used to create event communication templates
- You are interested in the current *** landscape and how it drives reputation and business results
- You have a desire to participate in creative storytelling through event design and guest experiences
Required Education:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a *** College Program or *** Professional Internship
- You'll be an undergraduate or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a bachelor's degree in events, project management, communications, public relations, marketing or a related major
Additional Details:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a *** internship or program
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must be compliant with The *** Look appearance guidelines
- This internship is a primarily on-site position - Must be able to provide a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
- Program length - The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 - June 2024
- Work details - Must be able to work FULL TIME hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
- Transportation - Must have reliable transportation to/from work
- Housing - Must provide own housing for the duration internship program
