Job Summary/Description: Job Pay (Hourly/Salary): $45 - $75K DOE
**** has an opening for Office/HR Manager. We are looking for someone who can maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the position, who appreciates a challenge, can think ahead, and follow a task through to completion. The ability to manage multiple processes at one time, organization, and strong critical thinking skills are essential and broadcast accounting experience is a plus.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
• Accesses the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordingly.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Manages Recruitment and Onboarding system (UKG).
• Manages company ser *** awards for employees.
• Responsible for all company reporting as well as processing invoices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Station contact for several corporate departments including HR, AR, AP, Payroll and *** Credit.
• Involvement in processing of AP, AR Payroll/time sheet processing.
• Managing new hire procedures, new employee orientation, and provides back-up assistance when necessary.
• Multiple general and administrative duties, many deadline driven.
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Accounting Manager.
• Other duties to include but not limited to, maintaining station office supplies, maintaining EEO files, and maintaining station FCC File and keeping it up to date.
• This role entails answering phone calls and emails, fielding them accordingly, addressing visitor questions and needs and providing an overall friendly environment for our viewers, guests and employees. • This position reports to the General Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements:• A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with the use of UKG HRIS preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred.
• Team player with a focus on station culture who can maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization, dependability, and the ability to multi-task.
• Basic knowledge of accounting, EEO regulations, Workman's Compensation rules, and OSHA Guidelines preferred.
