Job Description

SUMMARY

The Associate Production Designer - Project Hire works under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Manager, and/or Production Designer and helps deliver designs (environment, scenic, set dressing, props, costume, etc.) for varying Entertainment projects including, Live shows, Marquee & Shoulder Events, Seasonal Atmosphere, Character Photo Ops, Symphony Activations, and Placemaking efforts.

JOB DUTIES

• Works with the Production Designers developing concepts via sketches, storyboards, and photo studies to communicate preliminary design ideas.
• Utilize strong graphic design and concept design skills to create visually compelling and cohesive designs across all aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and storytelling goals.
• Develop visually captivating presentations, leveraging graphic design expertise to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives, and meeting the high standards expected at the executive level.
• Assists the Manager of Costume Design by providing design intent documents, costume renderings, color callouts, and other necessary elements for costume design packets.
• Assists in compiling design packages containing detailed design information for internal project teams to review and approve, as well as for vendors to use in bidding and construction processes.
• Collaborates with the licensing team when required to ensure the correct usage of IP imagery, following all style guidelines and specific IP notes.
• Works with the design team to produce seasonal overlays and designs as needed.
• Bring thoughtful, on-brand ideas to creative brainstorms and execution of assignments.
• Assists in monitoring onsite art installations during the construction progress, assisting in identifying and resolving any unexpected conditions and/or discrepancies *** ween the construction, drawings, and design intent.
• Oversees quality checks for the ongoing creative maintenance of scenic elements, with a focus on graphic design and/or illustration elements.
• Collaborates with project team support staff, artists, and vendors in multiple phases of production.
• Assist in sourcing and choosing materials for final creative intent.

• Maintain an understanding of industry trends and apply that knowledge to design assignments and in field art direction.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the Universal *** Hollywood Intellectual Properties (past, present & Licensed) across multiple *** including film, television, theater, parks, and games.
• Attend and participate in all required design team meetings and off-site training/creative sessions.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional creative work experience preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of creative processes and best practices.
• Must have the ability to be flexible with changing work initiatives; coordinate multiple projects and multi-task efficiently within a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines.
• Solid hand and computer drawing skills (Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Must have a basic understanding of scenic applications used in the construction of the final scenic.
• Expected to work effectively and independently under the guidance and supervision of a Production Designer.
• Will be expected to design and execute visuals within a set budget.
• Full-time work schedule with additional hours as needed during weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KEY COMPETENCIES

Concept Development: Collaborate with Production Designers and various Creative Team Members to develop preliminary design concepts through sketches, storyboards, and photo studies.

Graphic and Concept Design: Apply strong graphic design and concept design skills to create visually compelling and cohesive designs across all project elements, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and storytelling objectives.

Presentation Development Skills: Develop visually captivating presentations using graphic design expertise to effectively communicate design concepts to internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors, meeting executive-level standards.

Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with project team members, support staff, artists, and vendors throughout multiple phases of production to ensure cohesive execution of design concepts.

Trend Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends in graphic design, illustration techniques, and scenic applications, applying this knowledge to design assignments and in-field art direction.

Costume Design Support: Provide design intent documents, costume renderings, color callouts, and other necessary elements to support the Manager of Costume Design.

Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to be flexible with changing work initiatives, coordinate multiple projects, and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Supervised Autonomy: Work effectively and independently under the guidance and supervision of a Production Designer, designing and executing visuals within a set budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Alongside the Assistant Design Director, you will help to evangelise the game vision, ensuring it is clearly communicated to your team and carried through into the game's level design and implementation.

• You will lead a team of level designers to deliver high quality levels which support the creative pillars of the game.

Concept + Design Studio is the full-ser *** in-house partner for all things creative within Marketing's Global Brand & Creative, DTC, at *** Discovery. Our work spans four teams and encompasses brand identity, campaigns, toolkits, key art, OOH, motion graphics, and print and digital design. Together, we create and translate the brand for any medium to best serve our stories.

We are seeking a dynamic Motion Designer with a passion for branding and storytelling through design, motion graphics, and animation. As part of the Motion Creative team, the Motion Designer will be integral to the day-to-day creation and production of creative motion graphics-including OOH displays, environmentals, promos, packaging, and emerging *** platforms-while maintaining the highest level of design and brand consistency. They will partner directly with the Creative Director and work collaboratively with other motion designers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the creative development from ideation to execution. Your Role Accountabilities...

• Drive design process, taking ideas from concept through final production
• Assist and create flat assets, video graphics packages, social design, infographics, storyboarding,
• animating, and style guides
• Collaborate with and incorporate Creative Director's feedback into design and animation work
• Manage workload to ensure timely delivery of graphics
• Optimize, organize, and prepare design files for final publishing
• Conceptualize ideas for the brand voice to conceive and build designs/animations
• Research and stay up to date on industry trends and techniques
• Improve workflows to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Experience...

• Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design/motion design
• At least 3-5 years' design and animation experience
• Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and sound editing programs a plus
• Strong command of typography, color, balance, scale, vector illustration, and photo retouching
• as applied to design and motion
• Attentive to fundamental design standards (centering, kerning, leading, rags, etc.)
• Up to date on social *** trends and passionate engagement with services such as
• direct-to-consumer content/Facebook/Instagram/Snapchat
• Ability to work unsupervised and collaboratively delivering against tight deadlines while meeting

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of *** Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $62,790.00 - $116,610.00 salary per year. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Production Services & Studio Operations group. This is a dynamic role that provides direct support to the SVP of Production Services with day to day administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist on projects that require office and administrative work (PowerPoint, CBAs, competitive research and analysis)
• Provide departmental support through in-person, client, and backlot meetings, in addition to phone/ misc support for the studio
• Primary point of contact for department requests regarding Ariba, Fiori or other studio systems, showing ability to process AP requests, following up on payments and onboarding for contingent workers
• Writes memos and communication to clients as needed, providing excellent customer service
• Maintains client database, current client lists, accurate files, reports, records, and spreadsheets
• Light marketing work including working with graphic designer, placing sponsorships, and ordering client/promotional gifts (annual, sourcing, list creation, distribution lists)
• Provide department support by booking/billing conference room rentals, filing paperwork, creating templates across the department, maintaining client list
• Create, file and monitor agreements for upcoming clients while processing deposit checks, COI's and maintaining expiration date calendar/initiate renewals as needed
• Set up clients in studio systems using e-templates
• Utilizes templates for activity reports and calendars, creating and distributing communications
• Assist and field incoming client requests that require prompt attention, interface with clients, input work order to union trade departments and follow through
• Understands basics for billing and schedule functions
• Receive and review request PO's under direction of Executive Director, creating and processing billings for monthly billings while providing data for inquiries, reconciliation, audits & budget variances

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience as an administrative assistant
• Work onsite 5 days (9am-6pm)
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint )

• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be detail-oriented

Job Description

The digital designer is responsible for design, layout, and production of assets across various platforms and digital formats to support creative content, marketing, and social *** materials. The digital designer is expected to be a creatively resourceful, organized, and a highly collaborative team player eager to engage in a communication driven and quick-turn Creative department. This individual works closely with the design team under the supervision of the Associate Creative Director and Sr. Director, Paid Marketing & SEO Performance Marketing.

Mission: To produce agency-level quality creative every day, meeting the needs of all the entertainment brands and its affiliate business marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support for the Performance Marketing team

What You Will Do

• Responsible for show set design up to the level of a "gated park" including build strategy and implementation of same in the field.

Title: Creative Director - Platform Marketing

Reports to: EVP, Platform Marketing & Sales Intelligence

Pay Range: $150 - $175K commensurate with experience.

Position Summary:

Will develop and lead Nexstar Advertising's in-house creative services unit responsible for developing concepts and opportunities for brands to engage with our audiences across the Nexstar portfolio including CW, NewsNation, The Hill, Nexstar Local and all digital assets. Specific emphasis will be on news and local assets. This creative unit will be dedicated to developing bespoke opportunities for advertisers to tell brand stories to its audiences. SUMMARY

The Assistant Video/ *** Designer, Audio/Video Creative Developmentis responsible for conceiving, designing, filming, editing, and implementing video content for assigned Entertainment projects of various scale, including the World-Famous Studio Tour, Halloween Horror Nights, Fan Fest Nights, marquee events, park theatrical entertainment, historical archives, presentations and special projects.

JOB DUTIES

• Works with the Creative Director of Audio/Video to develop video concepts via treatments and samples to communicate preliminary design ideas and intent.
• Specialized skillset in Animated CGI a priority.
• Creates video design elements based on project needs and creative intent.
• Presents designs to project team and Creative Director to communicate vision, process, and implementation of elements.
• Working with project management, specifies and budgets time and equipment for video design and integration.
• Filming and editing of video content for a variety of purposes.
• Retrieval and clearance of film clips from the Universal Vault archives.

• Bachelor's degree in Theatrical Production or minimum 5 years in a related field, with emphasis in video *** design.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in advanced Animated CGI
