Seeking a Post Supervisor to oversee an Oxygen Crime Series. Must have experience with Clearance and Legal. Will be responsible for managing edit, online, and mix schedules. You will be overseeing a small staff - must be good at delegating and managing staff. You will be overseeing online & mix sessions with the EP/Show Runner. Must be comfortable addressing notes and making sure they are handled.

This position is fully remote. Job starts early June. Runs until sometime in December. Salary range is $2400-$2500/wk based on experience.

The Production Supervisor (PS) is responsible for managing the day -to- day production within a specific department(s). In all duties below, the PS must work in collaboration with the artistic department supervisor(s). The success of their partnership will be a primary factor in the department's success on the film. In addition, the PS is a leadership role in the studio and, as such, must accept the responsibility of supporting and representing the directives of the studio and the production leadership.

Role Specifics

Works with the Production Manager (PM) and/or the Associate Producer (AP) to meet department production goals; strategizing, planning and overseeing resources on a departmental level.
Partners with artistic department leadership to establish achievable and attainable short and long term goals; ensuring the delivery of work on time and within budget, while keeping team morale as high as possible.

The Production Engineering Supervisor will oversee the building of new systems and maintenance of current systems, with an end goal of streamlining the CG pipeline for artist efficiency. Adhering closely to the technology roadmap for global ILM, this person will use hands-on visual effects production experience to maximize our internal pipeline development by creating powerful systems that are easy to use, as well as by selecting tools and workflows that combine the best of off-the-shelf options with our internally developed systems.

What You'll Do

Direct team of pipeline engineers in Vancouver and San Francisco. Provide direction and expertise on pipeline development within the framework provided by the Head of CG and Head of Production Technology.

Significant experience and working knowledge of software development methodologies and programming using Python or C/C++. Shell (bash/tcsh) scripting experience desired
Experience using and developing software under Linux and/or Microsoft Windows

The VFX Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the CG production on the show and for guiding the Director(s) in the execution of the film. Position Summary

The primary emphasis for the Production Coordinator, Technology is on scheduling, communication and coordination for multiple groups (disciplines) of artists on all shows within an ILM VFX Studio, mostly around Technical support that is escalated to ILM Engineering. The Production Coordinator for Technology works directly with the Studio's CG Technology Supervisors to ensure that all escalated Show Support in their studio is routed to the correct Engineering Discipline team and addressed in an appropriate and timely manner. Each Coordinator works closely with their CG Tech Supe and the appropriate Engineering Discipline Lead in crewing, scheduling, and managing the escalated Show support tickets for their studio and communicating status back to the show CG Supervisor in their studio. Coordinators are significant points of information on all shows for Technology and need to be able to balance multiple needs, projects, and tasks at one time.

Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with Engineering Leads in crewing, casting and scheduling your Studio's escalated show support tickets or communicating alternative next steps back to the show stakeholders.
Work closely with CG Technology Supervisors in your studio, developing specialized knowledge around the Technology, Tools, Pipeline and workflows used in specific artist disciplines supported by your CG Tech Supervisors.
Establish a process for communicating escalated show support assignments and priorities to show CG Supervisors, Artist Supes and Leads, as well as the appropriate CG Technology Supervisor and Engineering Discipline team. This should be daily.
Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within JIRA as well working with Technology Project Managers and CG Technology Supervisors to ensure the status of the work is visible to the right Technology teams.
Ensure the escalated show support for your studio is prioritized for each appropriate Engineering Discipline and is meeting internal (show) expectations and needs. Check in with the crewed Engineers on a regular basis regarding workload, targets, needs, etc
Track escalated support status and coordinate artist testing and feedback at appropriate intervals to ensure the solution being delivered with meet show needs.
Keep a weekly synopsis of your studio's escalated show support and it's status in a clear and always available format
Serve as key communication liaison *** ween all parties relevant to your work. Provide updates, priorities, reschedules, and status of all escalated support at any given moment.
Anticipate and communicate issues to heads of team(s) to reach solutions in a timely manner.
Technical ability and knowledge required to run Linux, Windows, and Mac-based programs.

Responsibilities:

Teaches and maintains different choreography and blocking within the DCL LIVE entertainment offerings to both Character and Mainstage performers involved in *** Cruise Line productions
Collaborates and partners with a range of *** professionals to include:

Stage Manager
Production

DCL shoreside teams
Shipboard Management

Maintains the show integrity as well as the DCL LIVE entertainment standards of quality and safety

Qualifications:

Position Summary

The Virtual Production TD (Primary Operator) forms part of the core Stagecraft software operating team. They are the lead user in charge of operating the Stagecraft software stack, ensuring scenes are fully working and performant. Operation and troubleshooting of Stagecraft Virtual Production tool set
Assist with asset ingest, scene setup, optimization, and validation of look and performance of scenes in StageCraft

Recording takes and tracking shot/scene names with live action unit
Matching look and placement of digital environments, characters and set dressing to real world counterparts
Calibrate and ensure connection of virtual camera(s) to live action camera(s)
Make scene adjustments to achieve the goals of the key creatives on-set, including lighting, animation, set dressing, and colour correction
Provide time-to-completion estimates for changes or troubleshooting issues

What We're Looking For

Must be able to execute technically difficult work and maintain a productive attitude under the pressure of live action production
