Job Description

Please Note: This is a project/ limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12-18 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed

The Premier League researcher will become an expert on all things related to Premier League soccer, including the clubs, players, managers, rules and league storylines. Ahead of matchdays, this individual will be relied upon to develop, compile and circulate information - including press clippings, player bios and match previews - to the Premier League production group, on-air broadcasters and other departments of *** Sports. This individual will also work closely with other members of the production and research teams to develop storylines, pitch ideas and QC graphics and other content.

This role is for passionate Premier League soccer fans with exceptional writing skills and attention to detail who want to play a key role in our storytelling process.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Knowledge of and passion for Premier League soccer
Excellent writing skills with proven journalistic writing ability (submission of writing samples required)
Demonstrated editorial judgment and commitment to accuracy

For this reason, our system should be able to parse the user's query, determine the intentions and help them locate the results they need.

The Games-time Olympic researcher will be (or become) an expert in their assigned sport (or Sports) and work with a larger group of researchers to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of everything that goes on air across *** and its entities throughout the duration of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Responsibilities:

Olympic researchers are expected to become experts in the rules, results, histories, athletes and stories in their assigned Olympic sport(s).
Develop, compile and report information about Olympic sports and athletes for *** 's coverage of the Paris Olympics
Track all live action pertaining to assigned sports. Must be able to follow the developments in those sports in the weeks leading up to the Games and during the Games themselves
