SHOW DESCRIPTION

In Depth with Graham Bensinger averages 3 million television viewers/episode and 2.5 million digital views/episode airing weekly across the U.S. on the local NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX stations. It re-airs on NBC Regional Sports Networks and FOX Sports Nets, YouTube, ESPN in Australia/Latin America/Caribbean, BT Sport in Ireland/UK and TSN in Canada. Recent episodes range from a few days in Serbia with tennis star Novak Djokovic, to a trip to Texas for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, to visiting Hong Kong with Arnold Schwarzenegger, to traveling to Monaco with Prince Albert, to the week in the Bahamas with Sir Richard Branson.

POSITION SUMMARY

- We film on Canon 5D Mark IVs.
- We record at 48000 khz, 24 bit, shoot at 29.97 drop-fps and do not require timecode jamming.
- Audio must be recorded to separate tracks - we have to be able to split audio. Mixdowns and backup tracks are welcome but no mixdown as primary track.
- Hops are not necessary but welcome if no additional cost.
- Minimum of (1) IFB required for the producer to monitor audio.
- At least two subjects, no more than four, requiring wireless lavalier microphones throughout the interview and following activities.
- Booming additional subjects and activities will be required.
-Mic redundancies required for sit-down interviews when there are 2 subjects (aka 2 lavs and 2 booms).
- We will provide an SD, CF card or both for each day we film and then collect upon wrapping.

- Ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties
- Ability to work under stressful and extreme conditions, as well as quickly adapt to last-minute schedule changes
- Be teachable and willing to learn new workflows
- Ability to work under strict deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain audio equipment for the event.
Ensure high-quality sound reinforcement during the event, adjusting levels and troubleshooting as needed.
Collaborate with the production team to meet audio requirements and enhance the overall event experience.
Perform soundchecks with talent and speakers to ensure optimal audio quality.
Monitor audio equipment throughout the event and make necessary adjustments.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to audio equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized audio setup.
Familiarity with sending multiple mix-minus feeds.
Experience with webcasts and Zoom broadcasts.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an A1 Audio Engineer in live event production.
Own audio equipment kit, including:
Mixer with a minimum of 8 inputs and 4 outputs.
6 wireless packs with lavaliere microphones.
2 handheld microphones.
2 in-room speakers with stands suited for a small conference room.
Strong technical knowledge of audio equipment and signal flow.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality sound.
Familiarity with sending multiple mix-minus feeds.
Experience with webcasts and Zoom broadcasts.

FOH audio engineer for a small stage at a fall festival.

This event is 3 day community festival for a Catholic Church. The have various performances of bands, dancers, etc.

15 min film (shot on 16mm).
Recorded sound ANALOG on 1/4 Tape, using a Nagra, then converted the sound files to digital.

While editing, we’ve used mostly vintage optical sound fx to retain the analog sound.

A reference for the sound vibe, though VERY different story wise, is Coppola’s DRACULA. Psychosexual Queer Gothic Short Film

Likely timetable is December, but want to lock in someone early while still in editing stage. :)

We have just completed an absolutely hilarious indie feature film. Everything from the script, to the actors, the cinematography, to the craftie was on point. When the comedy hits, it hits hard. But when the big heart moment at the end of the movie reveals itself, the audience will be left in tears. We know we have something great for upcoming festivals, but we need the sound design to reflect the awesomeness of the rest of the film. That's where you come in!

We're looking for someone who can bring some real artistry to the table. This will not be a simple job of balancing levels and outputting a great sound. We want someone who can collaborate with the director and bring some cool ideas to really heighten the sound design.

Our main character suffers from anxiety. How would you differentiate the sound when he's having an attack? We jump into a lot of fast-paced chaotic movements. How would you attack the audience's auditory senses???? MAKE THIS YOUR BABY!!!

Obviously, we're an indie feature and can't afford to pay you a quadrillion dollars. But we can pay you a minimum of $4k plus deferments. So if you're looking to sink your teeth into something you can really put your stamp on, this is the project for you! Audiences should walk out of the theater commenting on how amazing your sound design was. If you think for a second you can't bring that level of artistry, keep scrolling!

We are crewing up for an independent feature film that will take place over 19 days (5 days/week) in the Los Angeles area, focusing on the east side (NELA, Pasadena, East Hollywood, etc.).

Oversee all aspects of post production sound, including dialogue editing, sound effects, ADR, and foley.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and other post-production team members to ensure the sonic vision aligns with the overall project goals.

Utilize industry-standard software and tools to mix and master audio to the highest quality.

Address and implement feedback in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure final audio deliverables are in the correct format and meet all technical specifications.
