Job Description

Do you love pop culture and entertainment news? What about trends, viral videos, and social *** ? Access Hollywood is looking for a Field Producer to deliver and execute creative content around a variety of topics including entertainment news, human interest, and celebrity features. Reporting to the Executive Producer and Supervising Producers, as well as working closely with our Production teams, this role will be responsible for the execution of daily editorial content covering an array of topics in a variety of forms, from breaking news to red carpets to oversight and execution of package pieces.

This position will crash day of air pieces and breaking news, so writing, edit, and strong storytelling skills are a must. This position will produce in the field and at offsite interviews when needed, source and advance news stories, and work well within a team environment. Must be comfortable developing ideas that work across all *** including on air, digital, and social *** .

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee creative segments under the direction of the EP, Co-EP, and Supervising Producers as well as work closely with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
• Be a one-person band when necessary, crashing day of air pieces for broadcast with quick turnarounds.
• Contribute towards building the brand identity by being able to take information and create engaging and interactive formats in which the viewer can participate.
• Write scripts and execute story telling visually through the selection of appropriate still and video images within budget and time parameters and while maintaining factual accuracy.
• Attend junkets, premieres and other outside events, including award shows, to execute news coverage.
• Must demonstrate pop culture passion, entertainment news authority and active participation and awareness of the importance of social *** to the entertainment news genre.
• Work directly with talent, ensuring proper communication on site in regard to segment expectations and goals through research and consistent updates
• Oversee content from conceptualization through the various stages of execution, including: Research/ Writing/ Producing/ Post and Voiceover direction.
• Identify and pitch story opportunities, finding the unique story angle while maintaining factual accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of editing desired, but willingness to learn is sufficient, with expectation that material can be delivered from producer directly to studio when necessary.
• Book guests and human-interest stories as necessary and in conjunction with talent bookers.
• Diligent about production paperwork including shoot reports and music reporting, legal guidelines, journalistic standards, and adhering to the on-air working practices.
• Flexibility in role within the team and within the company, including working across multiple formats and departments as needed.
• Strong communicator who can work closely with team members and talent, take and deliver feedback constructively, and contribute to an environment of communication and accountability.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role within a television broadcast, news station, or network.
• Experience with iNews preferred.

Job Summary:

The Technical Director I is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of an animated project as it passes through the various post-production processes and pipelines at TVA. This position works closely with the Producer, Studio Lead Technical Director, Creative Leadership, Production and overseeing other Technical Directors assigned to a project. When required this position will also participate in ongoing pipeline improvement efforts as software use continues to grow and evolve. Responsibilities in this position range from managing and ingesting materials from our partner *** and working with editorial to ensure a smooth transition of material. The ideal candidate is comfortable digging into complex shots created by our international animation partners and improving them with surgical precision and artistry. Supervising and ensuring the technical fidelity of final Broadcast materials through our mastering and finishing pipeline. Extensive knowledge of all stages of 2D/Harmony production including importing, creation of new scenes, compositing, and the file structure of ToonBoom Harmony is required. This position requires technical skills combined with refined artistic skills, including an eye for composition, color, and lighting and a strong knowledge of animation principles. Extensive knowledge of the CG Pipeline with respect to assets, including Character, Prop, Sets and VFX.

What You Will Do

• In this role, the TD I will collaborate with the project Producer on managing expectations to deliver a series. This includes, but is not limited to, helping with complex shots, prioritization to ensure the series stays on target, and raising flags to their respective production and Post-Production Department with any concerns that may affect an episode delivery.
• Ensure that animation ser *** providers are following approved delivery specifications and collaborating with Studio Lead Technical Director on any and all issues that may arise.
• Lead and perform shot work as needed, including fixes at any stage of the pipeline. For 2D/Harmony series this would include creating shots, adjusting color, adjusting lighting, adjusting animation timing, re-animating, fx and compositing.
• Leading the production in facilitating creative and technical workflows that pertain to pre-production artwork, necessary technical assets for production, or tool creation and retake calls within series approved assumptions.
• If applicable, for CG shots, lead the production via shot or asset troubleshooting, artistic or technical input, research and development, or tool creation.
• Facilitate creation and delivery of final domestic source master materials to broadcast and streaming business units in collaboration with other series assigned Technical Directors.
• In collaboration with Studio Lead TD, create, recommend, and innovate tools or pipelines to increase efficiency.
• Ingest incoming shot data for editorial as needed.
• Provide occasional technical support for shot and asset data for subcontractors and other groups in *** specific to the pipeline of the assigned production.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in animation production.
• Expert knowledge of all stages of 2D/Harmony workflows.
• Expert knowledge of ToonBoom Harmony and Photoshop required.
• TV Paint, or Adobe Animate (Flash) and CG experience a plus.
• Familiarity with other CG technologies such as Houdini, BiFrost, Blender, After Effects, Maya, Arnold, Nuke, and Unreal Engine is a plus.
• For CG series, Python and MEL experience utilizing the Nuke and Maya APIs, and Unix shell scripting experience strongly preferred.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $2,126.40 to $2,480.80 per week based on a 40 hour work week, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. We are looking for a dynamic candidate with music production or in-house studio experience to act as a Music Production Coordinator for our live-action and anime productions in Japan. Experience & Skills

• Experience: 5 years either as a music director, producer, or supervisor at a studio. Has in-territory experience in music production ideally for live-action features, series and anime.
• This role will have deep creative relationships with labels, publishers, managers, agents, composers, music supervisors, etc. as well as an internal content team and have a vast understanding of music supervision or worked in-house at a studio as a music producer.

The Role:

We are seeking an Executive to help manage *** 's original content (TV and film). The role, Manager, Production Management, is a permanent position that will report to the Director & Head of Production - Benelux, based out of Amsterdam. This Production team is responsible for supervising all operational aspects of original content produced for *** in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg and plays a key role in executing *** 's original content strategy in the region.

Responsibilities include: managing multiple projects in different stages of production, reviewing production plans and budgets, providing early guidance for projects in the development phase, curating and supporting local production relationships, and supporting/suggesting best practices from pre-production through delivery.

Qualifications:

• Extensive production management experience as a Line Producer, Production Executive or Head of Production.
• Experience managing the production of local Dutch and or Belgium TV and/or feature films.
• Knowledge of the ser *** market for international productions is desirable but not a requirement.
• Role to be based in Amsterdam (candidate must be open to relocating if not based in the Netherlands).

This position will help execute segments in studio, be able to assist in the field and at offsite interviews as directed, and work well within a team environment. Must be comfortable working across all *** including on air, digital, and social *** .

Essential Responsibilities -

• Help execute creative segments under the direction of the Supervising Producer and Producer as assigned, as well as work closely with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
• Assist Producer and delegate to Production Assistants as necessary.
• Be resourceful in the procurement of props, photos, music, and video elements that meet clearance/budget requirements, and book/prepare guests.
• Assist in the production of original and engaging editorial pieces, including supporting digital content when necessary, for broadcast.
• Participate in content creation from conceptualization through the various stages of execution, to include: Research/Studio/Field Work/Post and Voiceover direction.
• Assist in booking guests and human interest stories.
• Identify and pitch story opportunities, finding the unique story angle while maintaining factual accuracy.
• Must demonstrate pop culture passion, entertainment news authority and active participation and awareness of the importance of social *** to the entertainment news/daytime tv genre.
• Basic knowledge of editing desired, but willingness to learn is sufficient, with expectation that material can be delivered from producer directly to studio when necessary.
• Diligent about production paperwork including shoot reports and music reporting, legal guidelines, journalistic standards, and adhering to the on air working practices.
• Flexibility in role within the team and within the company, including working across multiple formats and departments as needed.
• Strong communicator who can work closely with team members and talent, take feedback constructively, and contribute to an environment of communication and accountability.
• Creatively ambitious, willing to take risks and have fun.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional TV experience with a talk show, news, journalism, or other relevant entertainment experience required.
• Experience with iNews or ENPS delivery systems preferred.
• Experience producing segments from pitch through execution in studio required.
• Experience producing in the field at red carpets, junkets, or other on site events preferred.

Desired Characteristics:

• A passion for television in general and entertainment news.
• Awareness of trends, viral videos, and breaking news across all social *** platforms.
• An understanding of current trends in the industry, social *** , OTT, etc.
• Experience with daytime talk shows/entertainment news shows.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and multitask a wide range of responsibilities.
• Creative thinker with the skills and imagination to produce content that engages viewers including games, transformations, and stories about real people.
• Ability to shoot/edit basic material for multiple platforms highly desired.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines within a prescribed budget.
• Good interpersonal skills, both in contributing to the creative team as well as in representing the department throughout the company.
