Your Impact The E-Commerce platform team develops tools for use by *** 's collection of publications and stations, ranging from marketplace platforms to local business and ser *** discovery tools. As these projects have matured, so has the demand for creating and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions that work across multiple products. In 2023, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for robust and scalable infrastructure solutions that work seamlessly across our products, building and maintaining security and compliance solutions, and continuous integration and delivery processes for various products. As a member of the DevOps team, you'll be working closely with the development, QA, and operations team members. You will play a key role in designing cloud-based solutions, managing infrastructure and platforms, and automating application deployment processes. Your expertise in Python, infrastructure design, and management, as well as container technologies like Docker, will be instrumental in driving our success.
Your Responsibilities - Work closely with product teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and develop scalable solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and automation tools to support multiple products.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement efficient CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
- Implement and maintain security best practices across multiple products.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer, supporting multiple products within an organization.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell, Lambda.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications - Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience with managing and supporting microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
